Product Details of ESPN NFL Football

Description

ESPN NFL Football brings you the complete NFL experience. It goes beyond mere sound and vision so you actually feel the action. Feel the fear in the air that results from unblinkingly staring down a quarterback from your middle linebacker position. Feel that brief moment in time when the ball's in the air and all that fills your mind is the overwhelming need to drive your helmet through that receiver's rib cage. Whether it's by making an opponent lose his shorts from a stop-and-go juke, by scraping your toes down as you make an acrobatic first-down catch along the sideline or by piling on top of a swarming gang tackle on fourth and short, ESPN NFL Football takes you inside the game like never before. Don't look, don't listen -- feel.

ESPN rocks

Strengths: -Online Play -ESPN Look and Feel -Graphics and attention to details

Weakness: -Commentary can get repetitive

I went out and bought a bunch of sports titles on the cheap because I have never owned any - figured it was about time. With the price depreciation of sports games, its worth picking the ESPN titles up. For this title, I was looking forward to some heavyhitting action. Word of Mouth said that this title was a lot better than Madden - they were right. Again, online play makes this game ten times...

ESPN NFL Football for PS2

Strengths: + The newly added (compared to previous NFL 2K games) ESPN presentation adds an aura of authenticity + Very impressive graphics, perhaps even better than Madden 04

Weakness: - Glitchy and buggy, as every NFL 2K game has been since the series started in 2000 - Stadiums and crowds look bad (once again as they always have in this series)

ESPN NFL Football for the Playstation 2 was simply the premier football game out during 2004 (it's since been bested by it's sequel, ESPN NFL 2K5). The very impressive graphics, audio (especially commentary, which blew away Madden's), and gameplay all trumped Madden 2004. The typical updates are also here in this yearly upgrade: new rosters, improved AI (less moneymaker plays), improved running...

Great Football Title

Strengths: + nice commentary + with the espn name/designs, it's very authentic

Weakness: - the graphics are quite up to realism yet (the players look like zombies)

This is the only football game I'll probably own and I'm quite happy with it. Other than the graphics I have nothing bad to say about this game. I think the ESPN license outshines Madden's.

ESPN NFL Football (ps2)

EA Sports' Madden franchise has stood head and shoulders above the competition for the last few years. If you were a pigskin fanatic, you had Madden in your console, it was that simple. Well, with the release of ESPN Football, things have gotten a bit more complicated on the digital gridiron.
