Jak II PS2

Strengths: All the perks of a new and updated video game. Great graphics and adventure.

Weakness: None I've noticed.

For a person who enjoyed the original Jak and Daxter, I love Jak II. This game has the same general idea, coupled with more exciting adventure, better fight scenes, and better graphics. This is just what I would have expected for this game and I am very pleased.

Jak II PS2

Strengths: Great graphics, terrific gameplay.

Weakness: If anything, difficulty. It's not an easy game.

The only real complaint I have is the size of the city. It's fun, for about 2 seconds. After that the LOOOOONG travel times between missions get old fast. I like the idea behind it, but I think they made the city a little too big for the game it's in. Maybe I'll change my mind as I progress through the game. Regardless, I did give the game five stars. That's because it is one of the best games...

Jak II PS2

Strengths: Graphics, gameplay, length

Weakness: having to drive hovercrafts all around city

I love this game. It is better than Jak & Daxter and much more fun. Everyone should buy this game. The guns are the best addition to this game by far. Ordering this game from DVDempire.com was a great choice. Jak can finally talk! Great story also

Jak II PS2

Strengths: This game has good graphics and a good overall story line. The missions system makes the game a lot less linear than the first.

Weakness: While still being fun, its more difficult than the prequel. Welcome to the world of "do over"!

This game is cool. The developers did a good job on this title. However, the story and content is a far cry away from J&D. The original game was very colorful and family-friendly. All around good clean fun. This game takes all that and flushes it. Dark and creepy, its quite a departure from its predecessor. Its still a good game though. I'm just not sure they should have made this a sequel to Jak...

Jak II PS2

Strengths: Graphics-A+ one of the best looking PS2 games Sound-A+ top voice and music Gameplay-A+ combinations that work Length-A+ not too short/long Replay-A+ cool secrets Story-A(?) pretty good

Weakness: Graphics-none Sound-none Gameplay-sometimes too hard & city travel time Length-"Wait... I'm at the end?" Replay-secrets are !@#!$# hard to get Story-not very complicated...

If you like platform games... I mean GTA... I mean Tony Hawk... I mean Ratchet and Clank... I mean racing... aww screw it... if you like games at all, you'll love this game. No really! Ok, I know I will write more later, just go get it now :P. I still have to try and get more of these sidemissions done... dunno if there is another ending like the first one...

Jak II PS2

Strengths: There is more of a storyline to follow and less collecting than in Jak & Daxter. The missions assigned throughout the game present more of a challenge than the previous game as well.

Weakness: I'm not fond of the overabundance of zoomers. They seem to get in the way and detract from the game.

This game is a little more "grown up" than the first. After his imprisonment, Jak has a lot of anger issues he needs to work through. This time around, Jak gets weapons and cool upgrades as the game progresses. I haven't completed the game yet, but I'm enjoying it so far.

Jak II

I cannot believe that it has already been two years since Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy was released. I think that it is one of the best platforming games that is on the PlayStation 2. When Naughty Dog started developing Jak II they decided to combine a lot of things that are really popular in games today such as: a non linear mission scheme, a living breathing world, and throw in a lot of...

Jak II

Looking back, I think the original Jak & Daxter is best described as inoffensive. While lacking in flavor and untaxing on the intellect or reflexes, it was nonetheless relaxing to go through familiar video game motions, to run and jump through picturesque environments and collect the 2,101 doodads that needed collecting. It was basic but enjoyable for what it was, and also managed to plug a gap...

Jak II

Last year may have been the year of the platformer, with all of those new games hitting the systems like clockwork. But if sales charts have anything to do with it, we won't see the precipitation of traditional platformers coming round for some time now. Naughty Dog, well known now for its 2 ½D platform series Crash Bandicoot on PlayStation , has sunk its teeth into the genre again.
