Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike

Strengths: Star Wars fans must apply, great and fun gameplay, good sounds, great graphics, co-op Rogue Leader is lots of fun, great multiplayer

Weakness: Gamecube exclusive

One of the best Star Wars games I've played. Lots of variety in the gameplay, covering in the air, in space and on foot. Definitely covers key areas from the "classic" Star Wars series, and covers them very well. The gameplay is very well done and very fun to play, either in the single player campaign or in one of the multiple types of multiplayer. The co-op version of Rogue Leader makes Rogue...

Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike

Strengths: Great game and graphics. Definite fun for the star wars enthusiast.

Weakness: Really none, I love this game.

Great game and graphics. I have most of the star wars games and this is one of the best. Instructions are very easy to read and the action is nonstop. I would definately recommend this game. A1 in my book

Star Warts

Strengths: Great use of Star Wars license. Great graphics and sound. Branching storyline. Lots of challenge and things to do. Terrific multiplayer.

Weakness: Horrible first-person levels. Awkward controls. Often difficult to tell what's going on. High difficulty.

Rogue Squadron II was perhaps one of the most impressive Star Wars games made. This sequel keeps a lot of what worked there, but made some unfortunate additions. The worst of these is the first-person missions. This game shines when you are flying the various Star Wars vehicles, re-enacting one of the fast and furious space battles seen in the movies. It comes to a screeching halt when the game...

Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike

Strengths: Star Wars universe, great graphics, great controls, two-player co-op

Weakness: On foot missions

Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike once again tackles vehicle based combat in the original trilogy. This game allows you to recreate some of the most famous battles from the original movies by controlling all of the great vehicles. You get to control, X-wings, speeder bikes, tauntauns and many more. The graphics are absolutely beautiful and the controls are great as well. The only bad...

Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike

Strengths: Continues the amazing Star Wars spaceflight missions from Rogue Leader, adds ground vehicle missions

Weakness: The on-foot, ground-based missions are NOT good

Let me preface this review by stating that I think the previous game in this series, Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader is one of the absolute best video games EVER made. In many ways Rebel Strike adds to that amazing gameplay and builds upon it in some places, while also falling flat and disappointing greatly in others. The space-based missions are stellar as they were in the previous game. There's...

Amazing speeder chase

Strengths: Gameplay, graphics, Star Wars feel.

Weakness: On foot portions

The vehicle portions of this game are fantastic. The gameplay from Rogue Leader has been brought into this game, and that's a really good thing. The ATAT levels almost make me buy them as a viable military vehicle, and the speeder chase is simply amazing, capturing the feel and frenzy of the film. I hesitate to say the best part, but certainly on par with anything else about the game, is a full...

Star Wars Rogue Squadron III

Strengths: Great Story and Graphics

Weakness: Same old Star Wars Story

Rebel Strike is similar to Rogue Squadren II that was released simaltaneously with the Gamecube 4 years ago. The gameplay is good with the usual excellent Star Wars Story behind it, but honestly, how many variations can be made on the same old story. If your a fan of Star Wars, then by all means, pick this up as it is at a bargain price since it was released a few years ago. With great graphics,...

Rogue Squadron III

Strengths: Graphics, Sound, Presentation, Extras, Space gameplay, Multiplayer

Weakness: On foot battles.

Rebel Strike is the third game in the Rogue Squadron series, following successful outings on the Nintendo 64 and Gamecube. The pedigree calls for impeccable graphics, sterling sound and tight spacecraft gameplay. This new outing has all three of those things, plus several new types of gameplay, but are the additions good enough? Once again Factor 5 outdoes everyone with graphics in a Rogue game....

I sense a disturbance in the Force

Strengths: Still good dogfighting but...

Weakness: ...on ground missions suck Bantha

Oh where oh where did this game go wrong. The on foot stages, that's where. Did you ever play Star Wars Shadow's of the Empire? Cuz these on foot missions are LOADS worse. They just suck all the fun out. One minute, you're having the time of your life shooting down Ties in your X-Wing, but the next, you are on Hoth (AGAIN!) but running around on the ground. Arghh! Still worth at least a rental...

Star Wars Rogue Squadron III Rebel Strike

Star Wars. It's an institution of sci-fi culture. As such, LucasArts' bread and butter continues to develop video games based on George Lucas' kitsch universe. For a third, and possibly final time, Factor 5 was drafted in to create a Nintendo-only action title that sees the player assume the role of either Luke Skywalker or his right-hand pilot chum, Wedge Antilles. Star Wars Rogue Squadron III:...

Star Wars Rogue Squadron III Rebel Strike

The Factor 5-developed GameCube flight-action-shooter Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader still holds a special spot in the hearts of many Nintendo fans. Not only did the system-selling title deliver Star Wars fanatics frenzied dogfights over the Death Star, it did so with a level of detail unequaled by any other Star Wars offerings. It was, in short, a gorgeous undertaking, one that pushed...
