Hitman 2: Silent Assassin GameCube

Strengths: Large, opened levels. Good music.

Weakness: AI is inconsistent, character control for stealth is awkward.

This is a terrible $50 game, but as the price has dropped nearer to rent levels, it becomes more easy to recommend picking up. The levels are large and you can simply walk around shooting guards/civilians if you so desire, all to a fairly decent soundtrack. When the time comes to achieve the actual goals, there are usually 3-4 unique approaches to win. Unfortunately, this tends to become...

Hitman 2

Strengths: Sense of immersion, open ended play

Weakness: The occasional graphic glitch or AI flaw.

Hitman 2 is what I would call an underrated title. Too bad it is published by arguably the most inept publisher in gaming, Eidos. They have managed put a top notch development team in place, and Hitman 2 is a great result and it received little fanfare. The game is about a reformed assassin who has changed his ways and now works in a monastery, helping out with various odd jobs. In short, some...

Hitman 2 Silent Assassin

One of the problems with many games today is their lack of imagination. In order to complete a level you usually have to go from point A to point B and do exactly what the developer planned for you to do. Get stuck? Simply consult a strategy guide. Don't bother getting creative because thinking outside the box never works. After all, if the developer didn't plan for it, you can't do it.
