.

Strengths: none

Weakness: bad graphics, weak controls

This is possibly one of the worst games you'll ever play. You take control over a futuristic amphibious starship which can both fly through the blue skies or dive below the ocean depths like a submarine. On paper, this seems like an excellent premise for a truly great video game, so where did it go so wrong? The controls are atrocious and sluggish; it feels like you're controlling flying...

SeaBlade

Strengths: sound

Weakness: dull, difficult controls,

It is a futuristic combat shooter. You are part of an elite squadron of Southern Alliance pilots who are suppossed to fight and destroy evil Northern warlords. The graphics aren't that good and its difficult to control

Seablade

Strengths: Graphics are decent

Weakness: Poor controls, extremely difficult, bland storyline

Seablade is a vehicle combat type of game where you pilot a vehicle that can both fly and go underwater. I remember playing some old 2D games that did a similar thing, but this 3D translation didn't turn out so well. The biggest problem with this game is that the ship is too difficult to control. It is extremely hard to maneuver while trying to target an enemy and dodge enemy fire at the same...

Sea Blade

Strengths: It's cheap at every store that still sells it

Weakness: All around lousy game

Sea Blade is that rare title that comes along and just makes you appreciate the classics even more. An underwater shooter isn't a bad idea at all but the game's technical faults are too numerous to derive any real enjoyment from. The graphics are poor and look like something that belongs on an older gaming system, certainly not the hulking Xbox. The controls are lousy and the frame rate can't...

pretty poor

Strengths: good idea

Weakness: bad implementation

It would seem this would be a good idea for a game, underwater type shooter, but they do a very poor job of implementing it. The controls are poor, the graphics poor, the story poor, the enemies poor, you get the idea. Definitely not worth purchasing and not worth your wasted time.

SeaBlade

Strengths: Good game premise

Weakness: Price, poor game development execution

I purchased this game with Critical Depth (Playstation game) in mind. I couldn't have made a worse comparison. Sure both take place underwater. Both have submarines that fire weapons. Uh, that's about it. Critical Depth was a great game by the creators of Twisted Metal. This game is a complete mess. Poor graphics, poor gameplay, poor production quality = LOUSY GAME.

Seablade

Strengths: None

Weakness: Everything

This game is horrible! There is no storyline, its extremely hard. People just start shooting you for no apparent reason. I couldn't even beat the first boss! I went to all those little explosive levers and destroyed all of them and yet I cannot hurt him. Don't buy it, don't rent it, don't even look at it.

Seablade

Strengths: + some nicely designed seablades/planes + graphics are okay

Weakness: - the underwater parts are shallow (literally and figuratively) - the targeting system

The idea behind Seablade is passable but the execution is lacking. The story behind Seablade is similar to the movie Waterworld. Basically most of the world is covered in water and there's peace in one part but chaos in the other. The tasks involve saving hostages and destroying the bad guys. It seemed really cool to be able to fly in the air and also to dive under the ocean, but in the game...

Seablade

Strengths: Looks decent and has an interesting premise

Weakness: Boring unoriginal missions, lock on feature doesnt work correctly, ships have poor handling, and it gets extremely tedious

What is the point of having a game that allows you to cruise underwater, when there is no benefit to it. The ability to instantly go underwater seems like a cool ability but in practice the transition from water to air and vice versa is extremely rough because you cant just float on the water. You're with all of the way in the water or all the way in the air. The game also neglects to target all...

SeaBlade (xbox)

From the publisher that brought us Panty Raider, and developed by the company that created Creed's Bullets video, comes SeaBlade, a sea and air action shooter. The story goes something like this: natural disasters of biblical proportions have caused the ice sheets to melt, resulting in drastically altered ocean water levels. You know what that means - almost everything is drowning in lots and...
