Product Details of Super Mario: Sunshine

Description

Set out with Mario, Princess Peach and some of her loyal Toad friends for a tropical vacation on lovely Isle Delfino in Super Mario Sunshine from Nintendo. But you are in store for much more than a relaxing holiday. The locals seem to have a bone to pick with the legendary plumber, as it seems that a mustachioed maniac has mucked up the entire island with some sort of ooze, and Mario is accused of committing the crime. Armed with hi-tech water cannon called FLUDD (Flash Liquidizer Ultra Dousing Device), Mario sets out to clean the island, clear his name, and solve the mystery of the villainous vandal. Mario can ride multi-colored Yoshis throughout the island, using their tongue-slurping strength to accomplish various tasks. Other familiar characters make cameos throughout the game, along with a wide variety of enhanced characters. Every time Mario completes a task, he is rewarded with a Shine Sprite. As Mario collects Shine Sprites, new areas of Isle Delfino are unlocked. You have to collect 120 Shine Sprites on your quest to help Mario restore peace to Isle Delfino. Mario's missions include battling giant Piranha Plants, navigating treacherous platform challenges, solving mysteries, collecting Blue Coins, and many more.

Super Mario: Sunshine

Strengths: Excellent control and new moves for Mario, including flying with a water jetpack

Weakness: Firing the water pack doesn't play nearly as well as Mario's other moves, blue coin collection is tiresome

It's a new Mario game! (Or, at least, it was when I bought it.) It was loads of fun to play, and I do intend to replay it soon for completeness' sake. The game plays, on the whole, very similarly to Super Mario 64. The primarily difference is the introduction of Mario's water pack, which can fire a stream of water or enable him to fly for a limited time, and with additional nozzles unlocked later...

Super Mario: Sunshine

Strengths: Lots of levels, Easy controls

Weakness: Gets boring after a while

Overall this is a good game, has 5 objectives to beat for every level, the controls are good, graphics are not bad, It can be hard to get all of the sprites though, you have to get every blue coin there are(which is like 150) and it can be hard to find them all. Id give this game 4 stars!

Super Mario: Sunshine

Strengths: Gameplay

Weakness: Length

This game was a little short once you really got into it, but it was well worth it. This is comparable if not better to the Mario 64. The jetpack seemed cheesy at first to me too, but it was a great unique game. Especially loved the setting. I recommend this game to any Mario fan, or plain ol' gamers.

Super Mario: Sunshine

Strengths: Lots of gameplay, great graphics and sound, the waterpack if quite fun to use, keeps you entertained

Weakness: Quite difficult at times

A worthy successor to the Mario platformers from the past. The story is a little silly, but it's easy to pass on it and get into the gameplay, which is great for a platformer. Definitely have to use your head when working through some of the later levels, as they get very very hard at times. The graphics are top-notch, showing off the Gamecube nicely, and the same goes for the sound effects. It's...

Super Mario: Sunshine

Strengths: Level design, graphics, mechanics

Weakness: no snow world

This is an instant Mario classic. The water pack adds a lot of fun to an already great game. The game plays just like super mario 64. Collect shines instead of stars in this game. Also there are now blue coins hidden throughout the worlds that need to be found. There are three different waterpacks, with the most useful being the hover. The stages without the hover pack are very challenging, but...

Super Mario: Sunshine

Strengths: Fun environments, a few entertaining new moves, awesome "retro" levels. It's a blast just to run around doing crazy tricks using the FLUDD and Mario's repertoire of jumps.

Weakness: Repetitive blue coin quest, cheesy story and dialogue, a few mundane Shine quests, graphics aren't too great apart from water effects.

Super Mario Sunshine is a worthy successor to Super Mario 64, although it's different in a few ways. First of all, you're not going to be seeing the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario is on vacation this time, so while you might see a few Piranha Plants, most of the enemies will be unfamiliar. Also, Mario is equipped with a new tool: his FLUDD water cannon. Using the FLUDD, Mario can hover, rocket into the...

Super Mario: Sunshine

Strengths: Cute Graphic, Traditional music with a twist, Filled with many games in a game.

Weakness: Gets kinda complicated with lots gadgets needed to get stuff.

Not a usual Super Mario game, since this time Mario is trying to redeem himself while taking a vacation at the Isle Delfino. Great 3D environment, with cute characters. Overall, a fun entertaining.

Super Mario: Sunshine

Strengths: Awesome graphics.

Weakness: Long and difficult.

This game has some really great graphics. Cool storyline. It can get difficult at times and sometimes you just scratch your head at what to do next. It's a fun game and I would receommend it.

Super Mario: Sunshine

Strengths: Oh yeh! A Mario story game~!

Weakness: bit complicated

A 3-D Mario story game. More complicated and richer contents than the old one. Mario can do more things (means you have more to control) and can go to any direction (means you have to figure it out). Great music and graphics. A must-play gamecube advanture game. Oh well, I still feel something is missing in this game; perhaps that's the old game's simplicity and 2-D story line.

Shigeru Miyamoto’s latest platformer is surprisingly devoid of charm, creativity, or fun. Nah, just kidding, it’s brilliant.

Super Mario Sunshine

You've read far too many previews. You know Mario's on vacation. It goes wrong. He's on clean-up duty with a FLUDD water cannon strapped to his back. There's some terminator Mario running about Delfino Island like he owns the place, causing the Pianta natives to wobble their gigantic noses in disgust. You know Mario's rescuing shine sprites to lighten up the island. You've seen the video footage....
