Burnout 2 - a glance from the future

Strengths: *It's a unique racing game. In order to win, you gotta make the other racers crash!* - *Provides progressive scan support for those with HDTVs*

Weakness: *Nothing wrong with the game itself, just the current choices*

Burnout 2: Point of Impact (ps2)

Sometimes a game comes out of nowhere and grips those who play it with such an addiction that their daily lives change forever. I'll play for just a few minutes, they say to themselves, and 12 hours later they're still playing. They may have just lost their job, spouse, and kids, but they don't care. Burnout 2 is such a game and should carry a warning label that reads: WARNING: Will wreck your...

Burnout 2: Point of Impact

A little more than a year ago, Acclaim released what is arguably one of the most exhilarating racing games ever made: Burnout. Using big, traffic-filled city streets and The Fast and the Furious-style cars, Burnout quickly raced its way into many gamers' stockings. Never before had a game made you feel as though you were really engaged in a street race. Not one to wait a while to release a sequel...

Following up on its first racer on PlayStation 2, Criterion's Burnout 2: Point of Impact takes the...
