The ?Worms Universe? has never been so funny, as peripheral characters from earlier WORMS games have more prominent roles here; Calvin the Super Sheep, Ethel the Old Woman, Stavros Skunk, and Rocky the Concrete Donkey are just a few of the participants. The gameplay is simple enough to learn, but the game gets truly unique in its array of wacky power-ups and bizarre weaponry. The single-player action is absolutely exhilarating, and the dual-player modes are brutal.
