Final Fantasy X

Strengths: + just about everything - graphics, sounds, music, story, design + new, better battle system

Weakness: - linear, not free roaming - story gets a bit convoluted at the end

This is the best roleplaying game ever. The writing is top notch and I think it is one of the best FF stories. FFX differs a bit from the other FF games in the sense that the story does not have an ultimate bad guy who's trying to conquer the world. It's a bit more mature; I think dealing more on life and death, consciousness, love, religion and they're presented in more subtle ways unlike FFIX...

Final Fantasy X

Strengths: It has some really good graphics. It's battle system is great, and the sphere grid is very nice.

Weakness: It's weaknesses are very litlle. You can only change Tidus' name, and they never say his.

This game is one of the best in the series. Improving very much. More weapons to chose from and aeons. Better ultimate weapons. Voices and real facial expressions make this Final Fantasy one of the best. Puchase this game you will have fun.

Final Fantasy X

Strengths: Terrific graphics, engaging story, fun and integrated mini-game in Blitzball, awesome battle system, first-rate music, and endearing characters that you really care about.

Weakness: None significant. (A bit linear for some RPG fans, but hardly a problem in this game.) You WOULD miss quite a few things without also purchasing the strategy guide.

One of my first and still my favorite PS2 game. I have played it through three times already (with an average of 180 hours per game). Blitzball took some getting used to--I couldn't get into it until my second time playing the game, but it is worth the effort. Anyone who claims the cutscenes are simply Tidus trying to get into Yuna's pants are either playing a different game from the one I have...

Final Fantasy X

Strengths: Unbelievable storyline, excellent character build, the emotion engine is really put to work on some parts, the CG sequences are excellent, graphics usually aren't laggy.

Weakness: Game story is very linear, some parts may come confusing to most people, leveling up gets annoying after about 1/2 the game is over, lip-movements are terrible!

The game's storyline is unbelievable. I had been hooked on this game so much that I have beaten it thoroughly 9 times. This is the best of the Final Fantasy series for sure. The soundtrack is brilliant as always (good work Uematsu!!). They should have spent more time redoing the lipping on this game. It looks terrible at times.

Final Fantasy X

Strengths: Absolutely everything!

Weakness: Nothing at all.

This game is so awesome. Awesome graphics (Though, I will admit, they could be better on certain cinemas). The voiceovers could be a little better, but I gotta say, I love Wakka's voice =D. I don't understand all these morons saying that "all the cinemas are just Tidus trying to get into Yuna's pants" and all that crud. Tidus does flirt a little with her at times, but there's nothing more to it...

Final Fantasy X

Strengths: Graphics and CGIs are one of the bests out there. New fighting system has improved gameplay and saves time.

Weakness: Linear and random battles

Overall this game was one of the best RPGs I have played in a long time. Its graphics are the best that I can imagine for an RPG to date. The new fighting system makes playing it enjoyable and its character building system is interesting. There are still random battles, but with the new fighting system you can kill them quickly or just run away. The story and characters were excellent. This game...

Final Fantasy X

Strengths: Powerful graphics, sweet music, great characters, good gameplay.

Weakness: The CD is weak...scratches easily, too linear with the movement patterns, lots of movies.

Final Fantasy X will leave you astounded for the rest of your life (maybe). This game offers everything from the corners of our beloved earth from great voice accents, voice acting, graphics are astounding, sound is bedazzling...basically an RPG freak's dream game!!! I only rented this but im having lots of fun.

Final Fantasy X

Strengths: Everything It's square.....

Weakness: none

For all of you who have bashed this game for it's "Love cuts" and it's "Lack of Story line." You don't know what your talking about. The game is up there in the best rpgs ever maybe not the top tier but close. Yes it had its' flaws but no they were not the cut's or the story line which were great. And lack of exploring you must not have taken full advantage of you airship. All of you people need...

Final Fantasy X

Final Fantasy X has been released for U.S. audiences, and as always, there is no shortage of interest and hype surrounding the highly-anticipated 10th installation to the series. The first Final Fantasy to be released for the Playstation 2 entertainment system, we've been somewhat cruelly teased with endless screens and information for months. For a while it seemed the day would never come, and I...

Final Fantasy X

What is heartening, though, is that the last of Hironobu Sakaguchi's Final Fantasy games makes a very strong argument for being the best game the series has ever seen. It is, as the series has always been, a graphical showcase of the first order. The addition of spoken dialogue, despite plenty of second-guessing before the event, has succeeded to a far greater degree than a first effort of this...

Final Fantasy X

The tenth game in the most storied franchise in video-game history marks both a beginning and an ending. This is the first FF game for the PlayStation2, the first one to use voice acting, and supposedly the last single-player game in the series. Whether the latter holds true or not, Square has put together a spectacular finale that serves up many of the things people loved about the series and...
