Another Classic Midway Arcade Port

Strengths: Fun arcade-style racing, lots of characters, interesting environments

Weakness: Can get repetitive, there's a sound glitch

Arctic Thunder is another Midway arcade game that has been ported over to the consoles. If you are familiar with other games from the "Thunder" series like Hydro Thunder and 4x4 Thunder, you'll be instantly familiar with the gameplay of this game. Arctic Thunder Xbox

Strengths: Arcade racing on snow, fight dirty with competitors, multiplayer arena battle mode, 19 player characters, 12 tracks and 5 battle arenas to choose from, decent graphics

Arctic Thunder

The power slide keeps you out of the snow bank heading into the underground paths of Chernobyl, and brings the leader into view. You tap fire control, and a rocket flares away from your snowmobile to blast the lead rider from his machine. Arctic Thunder, a Midway release for the Xbox, is a wild, arcade-style race and fight program that will have gamers twisting and turning in their seats almost...
