Neverwinter Nights continues

Strengths: More races and classes to play

Weakness: Glitches

The overall playability is great. You can play more races and classes than before. Finally a drow half-elf! On the downside I have encountered several glitches in the game and the character classes don't always match up to the handbook.Bottom line: If you liked Neverwinter Nights 2 then you should enjoy the expansion, just be prepared for some bugs along the way.

A decent expansion pack.

Strengths: Same game-play.

Weakness: N/A

Buy it if you can't get enough of Neverwinter Night 2. There are some bugs here and there but hopefully Obsidian will fix it ASAP. At the moment, I'm not enjoying it as much as custom campaigns of original Neverwinter Night(in game bugs are one of the reasons). Only hardcore fans would enjoy it.

Never-ending winter

Strengths: Just like NWN2, but more of it.

Weakness: Just like NWN2, but more of it.

NWN2 was a good sequel to NWN with a decent story. But it was more of an evolutionary than revolutionary product. The same cnas be said of the expansion. It continues from the end of the main campaign. There are new levels, monsters, and such. But it's nothing special. If you liked NWN2, then buy it on the cheap if you can.
