Product Details of Winback: Covert Operations

Description

Play the role of Jean-Luc Cougar, a special operative for an independent government agency called SCAT (Strategic Covert Actions Team). A terrorist group named Crying Lions has infiltrated the high-security complex that houses the GULF Strategic Weapons System, a high-tech satellite with laser capabilities. They have already destroyed the Center for Space Research, and their leader has announced that they have no demands ? the main agenda is destruction. The GULF system needs from three to four hours to power up before the next blast, so Jean-Luc and the other operatives have a short time in which to accomplish the impossible: take back control of the GULF complex or disable it so that the terrorists can't use it.

WinBack Covert Operations

It's certainly not perfect, and those qualities that set it apart will no doubt turn off players unwilling to adjust the reflexes they've learned from Resident Evil, Syphon Filter or Metal Gear. But I did enjoy Winback, and among the many gamers who missed in on the N64, there certainly should be some who'll enjoy its original twist on the genre.
