Product Details of Jak III

Description

One year has passed since Jak and Daxter saved Haven City from Kor and the attacking Metal Heads, yet Haven City is still immersed in deadly chaos as three groups fight for control of the streets. The people of Haven City have grown to distrust Jak's dark powers, and as rumors boil of Jak's ties with Krew and Kor, the city blames Jak for its current woeful circumstances. When the palace is destroyed by a surprise Metal Head attack, even Ashelin cannot protect Jak as the High Council's power broker, Count Veger, forces Jak into banishment to the desolate Wasteland. Jak is flown to the harsh island and dumped. With Daxter and Pecker bravely by his side, the three begin their next adventure where the battle for the city has just begun.

Jak 3 review

Strengths: -Awesome graphics -Awesome gameplay -rocking soundtrack

Weakness: -none

One of the classic series on the PS2, Jak 3 delivers a punch just like the last two games. It is the end of the trilogy(but not the Jak games), so unless you want to be lost during the story, you should have played Jak 1 and 2 beforehand. Fans of the series will definitely love Jak 3. There are only improvements to graphics and gameplay, nothing detracts from the experience of before. I was a big...

Jak 3

Strengths: Graphics, sound effects, humorous, solid game play and controls

Weakness: Very similar to Jak 2

Jak III essentially is an updated version of Jak 2. It features many of the same graphics, sound effects, and controls of its predecessor. This is not necessarily a very bad thing, as Jak 2 is also a great game. My favorite part of this game (and the series in general) is the humor, which is top notch and I think very well done. The game play and controls are both solid as well as the graphics...

Best of the Jak & Daxter series

Strengths: good graphics, fun gameplay,

Weakness: can be a little too challenging at points

I have played all three Jax & Daxter games and this is the best of the bunch. I have also played all three Ratchet and Clank games, and I think all the R&C games are a little better than the Jak series. Jak is a little "darker" in this game, not the happy-go-lucky fellow he was in the first game. Jak is banished to the "Wastelands" and he and Daxter are trying to get out. In Jak 3, Jak wields all...

culmination of the series

Strengths: series finale, great gameplay

Weakness: none

This is a great game to finish off the Jak trilogy. Everything well done and polished and the gameplay is great. The dune buggys handle great, although they can get a little tedious, but it is a lot of fun to explore on them. There are typical platformer type activities too, but the game does a good job of mixing everything up into one great overall game with an interesting plot. Definitely worth...

Jak III

Strengths: good action, story, characters, graphics

Weakness: too many driving missions

the Jak series took a pretty dramatic shift with Jak 2 with its focus on guns and vehicles. Jak 3 sticks with this formula and produces really good results. the gameplay is pretty much identical to jak 2 in regards to the action, you even use the same guns. one of my biggest complaints about jak 2 was that the missions got to be very frustrating at times. having to replay the same mission over...

Jak III

Strengths: Gameplay, Story

Very good game. It contiunes the great rep of the series but it is the last game of the triology. The shooting and missions are fun, definitely a must buy for PS2 owners.

Jak III

Strengths: lot of action

Weakness: none

My son really likes this game alot. The best part of the game is you get to drive in this game. Too bad that Jak 3 is the last game of the Jak and Daxter trilogy. Great game.

Jak 3 (PS2)

Strengths: Great graphics and sound, great action, nice end to the Jak series

Weakness: Need to play the first to go get all the backstory

Jak 3 is the end of the Jak & Daxter trilogy. It follows the storyline of the first two games very closely, so for those that haven't played the first two games, it's highly recommended to do so (and they're both GH titles now, so they're cheap). The graphics look great and it sounds great, and the action lives up to the look & feel, with platforming, shooting and driving sequences. It finishes...

Jak III

Strengths: story, plot, action, and story mode

Weakness: too many annoying missions

As the end of the epic Jak trilogy ends in this game, I thought the game would be harder than Jak 2 but I beat the game in one night. It was fun but I'd prefer Jak 2 better. Still this is a must buy

Jak 3

Strengths: good graphics

JAK 3 concludes the Jak and Daxter trilogy it takes place a year after they saved Haven City. You begin in Wasteland which is a desert environment and 5 times as big as Haven City. Jak has lots of vehicles and new weapons at his disposal.

Jak 3

Ever since Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy was released upon the gaming world I have been hooked on the series. The first game was a thing of beauty; it was one of the best looking games on the Playstation 2 at the time. Best of all the game had no load times and anything that you saw in the horizon, you would get to go to and explore. Jak II made a radical departure from the series, with an...
