meh

Strengths: good graphics, solid gameplay

Weakness: pretty generic

Pretty much everything about this game is generic; even the graphics, while they look nice, are pretty standard FPS fare. The story is uncompelling at best and the characters seem the same as every other FPS. If you are looking for another FPS and already have Halo 2 and Half Life 2, you might want to give this game a try, just don't expect anything spectacular...

Pariah

Strengths: Beautiful background graphics, good gameplay, weapon options are nice

Weakness: Enemy AI is shoddy, lack of background story for the main characters, game is short

Pariah is a pretty good first person shooter for the Xbox. It seemed like the game creators were trying to make a Halo clone, but they definitely fell short. The weaknesses of the game include poor AI. Most of the time, you are fighting your enemies from a distance. They will do a good job in trying to flank you, but they seem to move at breakneck speed once they get within 20 meters! The enemy...

Halo knockoff could be a lot worse

Strengths: Environments are cool, storyline makes some sense, good mix of shooting, running, and vehicular elements

Weakness: Nothing new here if you've played any other sci-fi based shooter lately

Got this on a bargain table at ToysRUs. Haven't finished game yet, about 4-5 hours into it. Nice level design. Story is interesting. Shooting action is uneven. Many weaponws look great but don't have stopping power. Enemy AI is less than fantastic. For the price, a pleasant diversion, but no genre-advancing moments so far.

Pariah

Strengths: graphics, multiplayer, map editor

Pariah is an ok FPS. It's gameplay is action packed. It has good graphics and a nice selection of weapons. You can create your own multiplayer maps with the map editor. Your weapons can be upgraded. At times the multiplayer can lag. The multiplayer component adds to it's replay value.

.

Strengths: Awesome weapons

Weakness: Backgrounds get dull after a while

If you like first person shooters like "Halo" or "Medal of Honor", you'll feel the same way about "Pariah". The formula is very simple: you are a doctor escorting a mysterious female prisoner who is infected with the mysterious virus. Early in the game, a disaster will occur, forcing you to team up with your female prisoner and fight against your former bosses and allies. This game has excellent...

Pariah for the Xbox

Strengths: + Pretty good graphics + Awesome level editor

Weakness: - Bad AI - Gameplay gets boring

Pariah for the Xbox stands out for one reason: An awesome level editor. Make your own multiplayer levels and share them with your friends! Every first person shooter, heck.. every game needs something like this. It's a wonderful feature that can take up quite a bit of your time. That being said, the rest of the game isn't bad by any means, but it's also not particularly great either. The graphics...

Short, repetitive, okay

Strengths: Blow everything up first person shooter

Weakness: Plain vanilla compares to other FPS out there

This is another FPS that tries to take the crown from Halo but fail miserably. The game is short, the AI is not so smart, and things are the same suddenly when you think about all the FPS games out there. Rent, unless you are a die hard FPS shooter fan.

Average Pariah

Strengths: Its a first-person shooter

Weakness: Story confusing, weapons just ok

Pariah is a cookie-cutter example of a first person shooter. Gameplay is weak, since the weaponry is unspectacular. Long load times don't help, and neither does the jumbled story. Only buy it if you're in desperate need of yet another shooter.

Pariah

Strengths: Great graphics and sound, multiplayer and online play, map editor which you can then bring online.

Weakness: Dumb computer opponents, Unreal engine is getting kind outdated, there are better FPS games on Xbox.

While I'm not a huge FPS fan, I do enjoy the occasional game of Halo or Doom. Pariah is not even close in terms of quality but there are some redeeming qualities about it. The map editor, while limited, is rather fun to toy around with and you can share your creation with others online. Then there's the cooperative mode which is great for novices like me that need someone else to baby them...

Pariah (XBOX)

Strengths: Graphics, Level Design, Upgrading Weapons, Sound

Weakness: Die to easily, Story Line, Enemy AI

The sound and capability of upgrading your weapons complement the already solid graphics and level design. But that's where it all stops. The story line is very confusing, it only takes 1 or 2 bullets to die (too realistic). Well, at least you can take this game on xbox live right? Good luck finding someone playing this game. This game is only good if you play single player, or if you are bold...

If you love First-Person Shooter games, and you have an Xbox, then right now you must be in hog heaven. In the past few months there has been a landslide of first-person shooter games. Wait, let me retract that statement and say this: there has been a landslide of good first-person shooter games. This makes it harder for people who are on a gaming budget to figure out which ones are worth their...

Pariah

FPS fans sure are a lucky bunch. Every month the Xbox receives at least one highly polished first-person shooter. In such a crowded genre, a game has to separate itself from other mundane titles by having extremely solid core gameplay and offering a myriad of options. For shooters on Xbox this means the inclusion of a dramatic storyline, a fleet of vehicles, and online play. While Pariah tries to...
