Underrated!

Strengths: Simple and fun controls.

Weakness: Candy Kong is weird looking.

DK: Barrel Blast got throttled by professional reviewers, but I was pleasantly surprised by it. The simplicity of the control scheme makes this title much more accessible to novices than other racing games, and the variety of courses and racers keeps things interesting. Definitely worth a try if you're looking for a different kind of racing game.

Great Game

Strengths: colorful graphics and great sound.

This game has great colorful graphics and character selection. The controls can be a little bit confusing at first but, it really speeds up once you get used to it.

Donkey Kong Barrel Blast is just that - A BLAST! Wow this game is fun. I haven't got to play many of the different modes, yet, but I already know that this one is a 'keeper' for my game collection. Donkey Kong Barrel Blast

Strengths: Great gameplay - Awesome and huger selection of races

Weakness: Controls a bit tough to manuever at times but nothing major

If you like racing games, this is an awesome game. I have played Donkey Kong since WAY back and this installment is just another great addition to the family. This is a MUST play for multi-player races. With so many characters to unlock, you will keep playing this for months to come. If you like Mario Kart, you will also like Barrel Blast.

This game is loads of fun, it does take some time to get used to, cause you have so many movements, but once you figure them out, its lots of fun trying to race your friends especially seeing who gets tired first, its just great overall, must have for families looking for good wholesome fun.

Donkey Kong Barrel Blast is a fun game. I was a little leary based on some reviews I had heard, but glad I bought it after playing it. It gives you a good workout if you are really into the game - don't be suprised if your arms are sore the next morning! I enjoyed it.

Weakness: Music is kind of noisy, the tutorial is not clear

This game is like a car racing game, but you are driving a Godzilla/King-Kong/Monkey/Alligator/... instead. And shaking both the Remote and Nunchuk all the time.
