Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.

Strengths: Very good, long storyline with lots of surprises. Great RPG action with lots of differnt moves, items and enemies. Grahpics are quite good.

Weakness: Way too much dialouge. Slow to get going at first. Some levels may be a bit linear.

Personally, I loved this game. The story was very deep, with tons of surprises and mysteries. There are quite a few side missions to keep you busy. The boss fights are great and the crowd interacts with the battles, which I thought was very neat. There are seven partners for you to acquire in your party, and they all have a unique set of moves. There were eight chapters in all of pure RPG, and...

Paper Mario 2: The Thousand Year Door (GC)

Strengths: Great graphics and sounds, offbeat storyline and action

Weakness: None apparent

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is a sequel to the N64 game. It's an RPG story with Mario off rescuing Princess Peach, through some very offbeat action combat sequences and plot. It looks great and sounds great, and it's another must-have for the Gamecube.

Paper Mario 2: The Thousand Year Door

Strengths: This game is so good, you will find yourself playing it more than once.

Weakness: This game should have more challeging.

Paper Mario: TTYD is a sequel to the original Paper Mario on the N64. Like in the past Mario RPG games, this one does not disappoint. It has everything to satisfy a gamer. Graphics 10/10 This is a perfect example of what Paper Mario should be. It has the same paper-style effects as the first game. There are some cel-shaded areas in the game. This is a whole new scheme in which your character can...

Paper Mario

Strengths: Everything especially the music/sound effects

Weakness: Nothing

This game was really fun throughout the whole thing. There were times where it went kinda slow, but then it started up again. Every time I replay it there is something new to find. I also loved the drawings and characters.

Wow super fun with paper.

Strengths: Great sense of humor. Colorful and vivid graphics. Great sound.

Weakness: None.

The thousand year door. What does it do and what happens when you pass through it. You will have a good laugh playing this game. The dialog and story pokes fun at Mario and all of his cohorts in this great adventure. The first paper Mario game was great the this is just as good. Wonderful music and sound effects as you fight bad guy on stage in front of an audience. Lots of mini-games and coins...

Paper Mario 2: The Thousand Year Door

Strengths: Mario franchise...they have almost never gone wrong. Even better...mario rpgs...NEVER have gone wrong. This game is one of the best RPGS out and also is very funny.

Weakness: Hmmm...don't know.

First came Mario and the Legend of the Seven Stars(SNES), then Paper Mario (N64), then Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga (GBA) and now this: Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. Like all its predecessors before it, this game has the humor and the ease of use that make this franchise such a great game. Personally, I prefer this RPG series over even Final Fantasy! (Notably one of the best RPGs ever made...

Paper Mario 2: The Thousand Year Door

Strengths: Excellent storyline, graphics are great, fun

Weakness: None, this is a great game

If you like RPG turn-based fighting and the zany characters from the Mushroom Kingdom, this is the game for you. The cartoon like graphics fit this title perfectly as you control Mario, and a host of other wild characters that will join your party along the way, in a quest to save none other than the always in trouble, Princess Peach. What makes this game different from the others is the...

Paper Mario

Strengths: Brilliant game design, graphics and sound

Weakness: Kinda drags in certain parts of the game

Paper Mario was much better than I thought it would be. Nintendo has managed to craft a gem that incorporates a unique and fun battle system with an engaging storyline. Though I'm not really the biggest fan of the 'paper' graphics, Nintendo really did the best job possible creating top quality graphics with them. Some of the scenes in this game are visually brilliant but it's nothing less than...

Worthy of the lineage

Strengths: Depth, humor, and fun factor

Weakness: Audio is weak to nonexistent, not a traditional rpg

Each of Nintendo's consoles have now had a Mario rpg game, and while Paper Mario is closer to its 64 version than the Snes, all three share a surprisingly deep and robust game experience. At face value, Paper Mario seems like a watered down rpg, a lite version of the epic Square/Enix offerings. Yes, the combat engine is different, yes navigating the world almost feels like a sidescroller, but...

Paper Mario

Strengths: 1. Mario's spring jump; 2. Yoshi can run fast

Weakness: 1. Mario doesn't talk; 2. All the goombas look alike

For this review's strength's ad weakness's I decided to straight to the source, my 10 year old son. He's played most of the way through the game and has thoroughly enjoyed it. He also purchased the game guide after playing about halfway through to get more detail about all of the surroundings.
