BWii 2

Strengths: Intuitive controls, great graphics, immersive game play.

Weakness: Battles can become a bit too chaotic. Minor camera angle issues.

Fun game overall. If you have WiFi, you can add to the enjoyment of playing on-line with others. Cut-scenes are a bit tedious and game play can get a bit frantic. My only advice is to take the time to learn the controls. The game has implemented the use of the Wiimote and Nunchuck quite brilliantly. I highly recommend adding this title to your library!

It's Wiir!

Strengths: Nice gameplay style. frantic combat. Decent if not excellent controls. Good story.

Weakness: None.

BWii is a cartoonic military strategy game where you control large armies on a veriety or missions. The game looks great and has some good controls to go along with the gameplay. There's a nice online multiplayer mode for some replayability if you're really into the game. Overall it's a good title.

A RTS, with a coat of Nintendo paint

Strengths: Advance Wars lineage; Perfect graphics; Excellent controls; gameplay depth

Weakness: deceptively complicated

Teaching thirdperson shooters and strategy games a new trick Nintendo first party games don't strive for parity, they strive for dominance. This comes in various guises through their franchises, from sport with Mario to war simulators with the Advance Wars like avatars. By polishing up the intuitive controls and mapping them very well into the player's hands, Nintendo created its first cult hit,...

BWii

Strengths: easy to pick up gameplay, cartoon graphics

Weakness: not too challenging as previous AW titles

Having played Advance Wars on the DS, I figured it would have similar but expanded gameplay since it was a console title. However, I guess they must have eased up a bit on the difficulty and strategic play that was part of the GBA and DS versions. To me, it’s a dumbed down version of the previous portable titles. If you’ve never played the AW in portable form, this Wii version is probably ok...

Battalion Wars 2

Strengths: Wii remote control, great graphics

Weakness: None

Battalion Wars 2 is a worthy sequel to Battalion Wars on GameCube. It retains the core gameplay of the original game and takes advantage of the unique pointing feature of the Wii remote. The control is simplified and works better. The online multi-player mode is a nice addition but limited in functionality. If you enjoy the original game on GameCube, you will enjoy this sequel as well.

Good Fun

Strengths: Gameplay

Weakness: Some aspects of controls, no voice chat

Battalion Wars 2 is every bit as good as the first game and more. The game plays just like the first Battalion Wars for Gamecube, mixing third person action with mild real time strategy game elements. The new online mode is fun, but limited. The lack of online voice chat really takes away from the experience, especially on the few co-op levels. If you liked the first Battalion Wars, you'll no...

Entertaining, but not a gem

Strengths: Unique Wii controls, fun cartoon style, easy to play, control characters and vehicles

Weakness: Repetitive, no same-screen multiplayer

Battalion Wars II, the sequel to a Gamecube game, does everything you would expect. Easy to pick up and play, the game puts in the shoes of a soldier with a unique Wii feel. Aiming is done with the Wii remote making it much more accurate and user-friendly than joystick shooters. However, the novelty soon wears off and while the game is still enjoyable, it doesn't quite reach the level of great...

BWii

Strengths: GameCube core with improved controls and online

Weakness: Lack of online missions

Battalion Wars II is a fantastic successor to the GameCube game of 2005. Retaining the core gameplay of the original with the addition of Wiimote pointing for added precision was a winning concept. Vastly simplified controls all around made it a much better game. The online aspect works wonderfully and was a welcome addition, however limited in selection it is.

Battlion Wars 2

Strengths: Good use of the wii remote, nice graphics, fun to take direct control of vehicles from the advance wars games.

Weakness: Some of the controls can be annoying, like doing a roll with infantry units. Battles can be hectic.

Battalion wars 2 is an action strategy game that is just a lot of fun to play. Taking control of your units and blasting the enemy to pieces with vehicles is quite satisfying. There are strength and weakness for each unit type and an example of this would be air units. While some are powerful against ground forces, there are weak against anti air units, and light tanks have a good amount of...
