Best Metroid ever?

Strengths: Perfect controls, excellent graphics, good learning curve

Weakness: Door-loading takes you out of the experience

Metroid Prime 3 is the first 3D Metroid game I completed, and will likely be the last. There's no way to return to the analog stick aiming of the GameCube games after experiencing the near-perfect Wiimote pointer. Controls aside, the action and story are top-notch, with the lack of fetch quests interrupting your exploring a huge positive. Wii owners and fans of the series should buy this.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (Wii)

Strengths: (1) Excellent controls when "Sensitivity" setting is set to "Advanced" (2) A long game that never gets dull

Weakness: (1) None

Metroid fans know why the Prime series is so captivating and everything about it only gets better with Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. For series veterans, it relies on much of the tried-and-true, if somewhat formulaic, gameplay elements but adds plenty of surprising additions. First off, I love the way this game controls! Though the story is not exceptional, I was totally immersed in the game due...

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption - Best Wii first person...

Strengths: Awesome controls, great graphics, all around fun gameplay.

Weakness: Not a game for the casual crowd.

Metroid Prime 3 is the first of the big 3 (the others being Super Mario Galaxy and Smash Bros. Brawl) that Nintendo is offering for the holiday season. After playing this game, it no doubt belongs in this popular trio. Metroid Prime 3 is a first person shooter/adventurer that really defines the Wiimote and nunchuck as an advancement over the dual analog setup that gamers have been used to over...

This is an okay game

Strengths: classic series. Nintendo fanboys love this game.

Weakness: metroid price makes me dizzy. I didn't play it that much. I didn't like the ball.

I didn't really give this game a try. I played it for a few minutes, but it made me to dizzy to play more than 15 mins. I wouldn't recommend it if you get motion sickness easily. I hear it is a really good game though.

Metroid Prime 3

Strengths: Awesome first person adventure for Wii, great graphics and control

Weakness: N/A

This is my favorite Wii game so far, even above Super Mario Galaxy. I enjoyed Metroid Prime on the Gamecube quite a bit but never finished it. This game I completed with 100% of the pickups and had a blast doing so. The graphics, for a Wii game, are amazing and the control is spot on. The game is in the first-person perspective. You move Samus using the Nunchuk controller and point the Wii remote...

The Best of the Prime Trilogy

Strengths: Great controls, great graphics, great everything

Weakness: Loading takes too long at some of the doors...I think that's the only real weakness

One of the best games for the Wii. The controls are done fantastically, it's far better with the Wii remote than with a traditional dual-analog gamepad. The graphics are very well done, improving from Metroid Prime 2 and showing that the Wii has enough power to keep games looking decent. The game itself is a blast to play, especially for anybody who loved Prime and Prime 2. The formula is...

Metroid Prime 3 Review

Strengths: Next step in the Metroid franchise

Weakness: Controls are awkward at first

Metroid Prime 3 is the third sequel in a very good franchise of Metroid Prime, this time, on the Wii. The controls can seem a little strange at first but once you play for an hour or two they will seem much more intuitive and become very responsive. Retro Studios did a great job utilizing the power of the Wii in making a game that looks good, and is fun to play. The game has decent length for a...

Wii's best game yet?

Strengths: Simply amazing graphics, near perfect control, great homages to previous Metroid games

Weakness: Controls take a little getting used to, too too too linear, short, and easy compared to previous efforts

I had a blast with this game. It is easily and experience that can't be missed. From graphics better than anything else on the system, and rivaling many games on 360 and PS3, a control system that, once you get over the learning curve, makes it difficult to play FPS's with a standard controller, and old fashioned fun stuffed in every corner, this is an amazing game. Problem is, it's like a "My...

Incorruptable.

Strengths: Fun action. Great visuals. Good controls.

Weakness: Not many.

Metroid Prime Corruption wants to do one thing and that's be itself. It looks and plays great, but in a way that doesn't try to emulate other shooters for other consoles. Its unique controls and visuals give it a flair all its own. If you have a Wii, whether you've played the previous metroid games ot not, I highly recomment Corruption.

A strong game from a new metroid player

Strengths: Excellent graphics Great control

Weakness: Gets a bit repetitive sometime

Metroid prime 3 is the best first person shooter available for the wii at this time. The graphics are very good and the control is simply amazing. The game sometimes feel like your doing the same thing over and over again. Scanning does take a lot of time. If you a fan of first person shooters, you wont be disappointed!

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

Metroid Prime. Ahhh………..Metroid Prime. How can I profess my love for such a great game? For many gamers, including myself, Prime is considered one of the greatest games of the past generation. In the same way that Mario 64 pushed Mario, Metroid Prime pushed the Metroid series from a 2D juggernaut to an amazing 3D experience. The same incredible gameplay in the early 2D versions successfully...

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

Most of those articles though make outrageous claims that I can only begin to surmise, were made without actually PLAYING Metroid Prime 3, and with the increasing number of review based scandals out there, it really wouldn't surprise me. I can tell you a good portion of the statements you'll find in random reviews out there are kind of bupkus, myths at best. Luckily there are two people I know...
