Decent But Could Be Better

Strengths: Same version play as arcade

Weakness: Could be reptitive and same game play.

I always believed that the Art of Fighting series were badly underrated. It never really caught on like the Fatal Fury or later the Samurai Shodown series. But it did had its merits nevertheless from the hugh characters to the sprit meter which limits how often you can special moves to the graphic scaling. All 3 games in the series are 100% versions of the arcade ports. Sadly, SNK Playmore didn't...

A classic collection of old school fighters

Strengths: Nice set of games, cheap

Weakness: Cheap bosses, graphics aged

Jumping on the Street Fighter bandwagon, the game featured two main characters very similar to Ken & Ryu, but they eventually grew into their own. This game collection gives you Art of Fightings 1 though 3. The gameplay is similar, although part 1 seems to have aged a lot, and its fairly basic. This...

Art of Fighting Anthology

Collections, compilations, anthologies – whatever you want to call them, these games add up to the same thing: a gathering of a series' oldest installments. If you were playing games during the early '90s, chances are you remember the faint existence of consoles other than the Genesis and SNES. TurboGrafx is a no-brainer. Some of you may have actually known people who had one! Neo Geo, however,...
