Disappointing

Strengths: Pretty, fun at first

Weakness: camera is a tough enemy, level resets, repetitive

I was looking forward to Dawn of Mana, because the Mana games are due for a good one and the idea of hurling objects at enemies with a realistic physics engine sounded cool. Sunset of Mana.

Strengths: Interesting characters.

Weakness: Weak Gameplay.

Dawn of Mana is a game I really wanted to like but there just isn't much there there. It's another basic Japanese RPg with a couple interesting characters and mediocre gameplay. There are a lot better RPG's out there for the PS2.Unless you can get this for fifteen bucks like I did, buy one of those.

Another fine addition to the Mana series

Strengths: Great Story and great character design. Sqaure-Enix does not disappoint.

Weakness: Game can get a little repetitive, and the whole game seems a little rushed.

If you've played the Mana series before this, than you know what your in for. This addition has great character and an extremely colorful design throughout. The game can get slightly repetitive at times, but thats with most action rpgs. Pick this game up now you won't be disappointed.

Dawn of Mana

As a loyal fan of the Mana series, I can still remember the joy of playing the original Super NES 2D action-role-playing game that was both unique and addictively fun. Secret of Mana certainly was worthy of a sequel and found one in the original PlayStation (Legend of Mana) and a few handheld games as well (remember Sword of Mana for the GBA or the recent Children of Mana for the Nintendo DS?)...
