Tetris fun, but should be a budget title

Strengths: New modes, multiplayer

Weakness: Crazy video backgrounds are distracting, its just tetris

This is a great tetris game with terrific new modes (like trying clear lines at specific locations on the board) and great multiplayer modes, but at the end of the day, this is just tetris. Not a whole lot of innovation here. They do try new video backgrounds, but I find them more distracting then anything else. And the music is generic and repetitive throughout. At least you can play your own...

Tetris Evolution (Xbox 360)

Strengths: It's the same game that we all played as kids! It's simple and it is co-op . A great thing about it is that it's very kid friendly plus the music is a bit different it's more of a high tech mix.

Weakness: The same game we oldies (I'm twenty three) played as children or adults. Doesn't take advantage of what a 360 game can actually do.

I've always been a fan of the Tetris series and no matter how old I get I always enjoy the game. The game is for kids and for adults but it's something that you can get tired of after playing for 30 minutes. So getting bored easily is a downfall but it's a game that you can pick up everyday before you get into your regular gaming. A must have for Tetris fans!

A must buy for you Tetris lovers

Strengths: Multi-player mode, xbox live, graphics

Weakness: repetitiveness

As a long time Tetris fan, I was glad to see this game remade on the 360. It comes with variations of the classic game that we have all grown to love. In my opinion, the multiplayer mode is its strongest asset. You can go one on one with another player or go all out with up to 4 people. The enhanced graphics and new backgrounds is a great addition as well. If your into old school games, this...

Tetris Evolution

You have to love the Xbox 360 and its ability to download, via Xbox Live’s bountiful Marketplace, various games that range from old-school classics to a number of puzzle games. What’s more fun than spending Marketplace points purchasing games like Lumines and Zuma? Why Tetris hasn’t made it as a downloadable game is beyond me but THQ manages to bring this Russian puzzler to the Xbox 360...
