Hand Eye Coordination

Strengths: Good use of the wii control. Intuitive movement. Aiming is far superior to other consoles. Great for eye hand coordination.

Weakness: Takes time to get used to it. Reloading by throwing the nunchuck back. World War II wasn't this short. Also its so very similar to every other Medal of Honor I've ever played.

This is an overall good game for the Wii. If you are looking for a first person shooter you might consider this for an introduction into how a FPS will act on the wii. When playing this game be sure to find the best way to hold the nunchuck and the wii-mote so you can maximize your accuracy and turn control. One wish for next time on Medal of Honor for the wii... design the grenade function to be...

Average for the price

Strengths: Excellent use of the Wii remotes to allow you to feel more integrated into the game.

Weakness: The game was fairly short, and lacked online play and arcade modes.

This was one of the first Wii first-person shooters, and it shows. The game follows the traditional World War II shooter type game where you act as an Allied soldier traveling across Europe to stop the Axis enemies. The difference is that you have the Wii remotes to help you feel more into the battle. The controls for the game take some getting used to, but once you've mastered them, the game...

Way too short...

Strengths: Good missions, interesting settings

Weakness: Controls take a long time to get used to, the game is way to easy to finish, very difficult to find some of the enemies, and crawling around is very slow, having to watch the animations every time.

I loved all of the MOH games on gamecube and was excited to get this as my first game on the Wii. Unfortunately, I struggled with the controls for quite a while and by the time I got the hang of it, the game was over. I hate the aminations sequences when I've had to watch them 10 times over after restarting the level from a checkpoint. Worth a $15-20 price, certainly not $49.99. Not much replay...

Medal of Honor Vanguard

Strengths: Nice looking graphics, customizable controls.

Weakness: Very short game, some graphic issues.

Medal of Honor Vanguard is pretty much like any other WW2 shooter these days, so don't expect much of a difference when playing this game. The only thing that's new is the parachute segments, where the player uses the Wiimote and nunchuck to navigate a landing spot. This only occurs 2 or 3 times a game but adds a little realism to the gameplay. Vanguard is a very short game, clocking in just...

Vanguard

Strengths: great sniping positions and balls out charging straight behind enemy lines.

Weakness: Grenade throwing needs getting used to

Great action and plenty of ammo for us trigger happy folks. Once you get used to the controls you become an enemy killing machine. Nothing like sniping a head shot on an enemy who peeks out for a second, or sneeking up behind him and executing him as soon as he turns around.

Medal of Honor Vanguard

While Activision’s Call of Duty 3 wasn’t a bad first-person shooter for the Nintendo Wii, it wasn’t exactly the game that would highlight the revolutionary Wii Remote as a capable controller fit for the genre. After having taking a breather for quite awhile, Electronic Arts’ Medal of Honor series makes a return with Medal of Honor Vanguard. Unlike past games in this series, Vanguard has...
