Wii Excite Truck Game

Strengths: Good use of the remote, quick and responsive. Can use custom music tracks by adding your own mp3s to the SD memory card. Great graphics, fast action, 2 player head to head.

Weakness: Crashes to easily sometimes and the game forces you to ditch the truck by pressing A, rather than letting you drive back on course.

One of the better initial release titles to come out. Overall, it's a fun game. The controls are tight and responsive, without much noticeable delay. Good game to be able to pick up and play anytime. Allows you to play your own mp3 tracks by copying them to the SD memory card.

Excite Truck is best racing game on the Wii.

Strengths: Great control scheme; great sense of speed; decent single-player challenge

Weakness: Excite Truck has no online gameplay.

You hold the Wii Remote in two hands, with the D-pad on the left and the 1 and 2 buttons on the right. Your truck can be steered left and right by tilting the Wii Remote. It takes a little while to get used to the sensitivity of the Wii Remote's steering mechanics. Excite Truck does not let you participate in any real racing until you've completed the first of four training modes. Once you've...

Racing Game Extravaganza

Strengths: Dizzying speeds and gravity-defying jumps. The controls feel strange for only about 5 minutes. They work flawlessly. Lots of ways to earn points. No matter how many times you crash, you're always in

Weakness: Need to be able to do more tricks in the air. Needs a two-player "Grand Prix" mode so 2 of us can race against other trucks. Currently 2-player mode is only the two of you on the track.

This is a game that fully takes advantage of the WII. You hold the wii controller sideways and use it to steer, pop nitro and do crazy jumps. With a little practice you will be having a blast. If you want a game that doesn't require a lot of thinking but lots of fun for all ages get this.

Exciting, really? If exciting means fast, then hell...

Strengths: Fast, slick graphics, fun, relatively challenging.

Weakness: steering can get hard to get used to, not enough races in single player mode.

A good purchase, fun, fast racing action that'll have your eyes glued to the screen. Possibly not worth the money though, as single player ends rather quickly. Definitely the best racer on the Wii so far.

Rocking fun with trucks

Strengths: The game feels especially real because of the way you have to tilt the Wii remote to turn, and is very fun to play

Weakness: The remote has oversteer, and becomes frusturating to handle in the beginning. With practice, the oversteer soon seems like understeer, and is hard to handle overall.

Our first purchased Wii game beyond the sports game. Easy to get started but lots of challenge for more experienced gamers. Neat way to use the controller and it is quite easy to become comfortable. Scenery is great and varied. If you like driving games GET IT!

EXCITE TRUCK EXPOSED

Strengths: the realistic looking trucks, the flames, the crashes, and last but not least the controling

Weakness: the generice cars and corny grafics

I have only had the game a day so I have not made it very far,But from what I have gathered I enjoy playing it.See I just got my Wii last night. So I am just getting the hang of it.

Exite Truck )Wii)

Strengths: Fast, frantic gameplay, fun multiplayer

Weakness: Short single-player gameplay

Excite Truck is a fast truck-racing game in the vein of ExciteBike for the NES. The Wiimote is held sideways to steer, accelerate, brake, and nitro boost through fast, frantic racing. There's a good multiplayer with side-by-side action, and thst's where the game is at its best, as the single-player game is a bit short. It's a fun game with friends.

Quick fun racing title

Strengths: new & fun gameplay, sd card mp3 addon

Weakness: so-so replay value, no wifi, controls a little loose

Playin Excite Truck for the Wii was entertaining for the first 4 hours. Using the wiimote sideways and turning left and right like a steering wheel was unique and fun. Though the controls will take a little bit to get used to. Turning left and right were too delicate. I wish their was an option to tweak it. The ability to play mp3s from the sd card lot instead of listening to the default game...

Fun and mayhem

Strengths: Great driving controls Fun points based system

Weakness: Learning curve

Once you get used to driving the Excite Truck way, you will never go back. It's very natural and more accurate than driving with a control pad. And you get points for crashing into things. What more could you want?

Truck racing on Wii!

Strengths: Great sense of speed, nice selection of trucks, fun multiplayer

Weakness: 2-player splitscreen should be 4-player splitscreen, more tracks would be nice

Excite Truck is a great first-generation racing game on the Wii. The graphics are fine, but unspectacular. The sense of speed is intense. While it would have been nice to have 4-player local multiplayer, you will have to make due with the still-fun two-player mode. Though the number of tracks is limited, it will take long enough to beat each one in all modes, making it well worth it if you enjoy...

Excite Truck

You're cruising through the woods, intently focused on the goal. With your fingers crossed tight, you speed past opponents and in between trees, hoping you can finish the day without another wreck. Having speeds in great excess of the limit, you launch off hills and mountains like Tony Hawk flies off ramps. You soar over the world and all its glory – the trees, the lake, and countless man-made...
