great game

Strengths: single player

Weakness: glitches online crashes

Who woulda thought that an FPS based on something like diablo can be so fun, I tell you ubisoft has done it again. lets start with multiplayer you can choose between several game modes: Crusade, Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag mode the player can choose his character from five classes, DM still has many glitches and bugs online constent crashes so its not for the faint heart...

Dark Messiah of Might & Magic

Strengths: Enjoyable first-person action RPG

Weakness: Short, linear, weak story and some technical issues

Dark Messiah of Might & Magic has a promising concept. It is an action RPG in first-person perspective. This makes it kin to many console games and less like the Might & Magic we have known for so long on the PC. It uses an impressive physics engine that allows you to dispatch of enemies in a variety of ways (though mostly this means kicking them into hazards like spikes or off cliffs). You also...

Fun game marred by technical problems

Strengths: Nice animation, decent graphics

Weakness: Game keeps crashing

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is an ambitious game built on Valve's Source engine. Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is a first person action rpg that strives to give players tons of options with how to deal with enemies. Mostly involving physics. The game is actually pretty fun. When it works. The technical glitches totally ruin the enjoyment of this game. From crashing to graphical errors....

Fun game

Strengths: Great graphics, even on laptop; cheap

Weakness: None

I have not played video games in a long time, but was always a fan of these fantasy based games. The nice thing about not buying a game when they first come out, as the prices drop quite a bit! I picked this up for ten bucks, which is a steal IMHO. I did have to clean up my computer, in order to have enough hard-drive for it. It required several Gigs, which is kind of surprising. It's basically...

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic

Strengths: Excellent graphics, really fun combat

Weakness: Some dull enemies in a few parts, fairly boring story and voice acting

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is by no means an RPG. You never get to control any dialog, the story doesn't particularly branch, and the whole thing is relatively linear. However if you treat it as a first person action game, it's a whole lot of fun. While it's certainly not an RPG, you do get experience points as you advance through the game, letting you increase skills for your character and...

Technical Problems

Strengths: Graphics

Weakness: Technical problems, crashes, story

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic tries to follow along the lines of Elder Scrolls- Oblivion, but falls a bit short. The story is boring and the frustration level increases as you encounter each technical problems. The action is very repetitive and does not do anything to help the dull story line. The game can be found on clearance at most major retailers. I wouldn't pay much more than $10 for it...

Fun Oblivion-esque romp

Strengths: Graphics are very nice, lots of fighting action

Weakness: If you've played Oblivion, will seem somewhat like an also-ran. Perhaps a little too easy.

We got this at the same time we got Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, so comparisons were inevitable. However, Dark Messiah does have merits of its own. More action-oriented that Oblivion, although at times the fights seemed a little boring and too easy. The game is also considerably shorter than Oblivion, with less sense of exploration. Still, a fun hack-and-slash romp for those of us attracted to...

Dark Messiah of Might & Magic

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic marks a real departure for the long-running RPG franchise. Whereas other entries were pretty much straight forward RPG, Dark Messiah puts itself more in the “thinking man’s FPS” type of quest, employing open-ended RPG elements and cinematic FPS action. Not only that, but the game also utilizes the Source engine, making for some truly impressive physics and...
