Age of Empire 3: The WarChiefs

Strengths: graphics

Weakness: none noted

Age of Empire III: The WarChief is the first expansion for AOE 3 RTS. It adds 3 new playable native civilization. The games graphics and storyline are pretty good. AOE 3: The WarChiefs is a nice addition to the highly rated Age of Empires 3. If you like RTS games and are a fan of the Age of Empire series buy it.

WarChiefs

Strengths: three indian tribes added

Weakness: limited and weak expansion pack

I have been playing this game for a month and enjoyed this game. However this game is so limited and weak, compared to previous Age of Empire Expansion Pack. Soon or later MS is going to sells East Asian Civilization Expansion Pack. IN my opinion, if MS put WarChiefs and East Asian Expansions packs into one pack, it might be similar to AoE I and AoE II expansion pack...

Microsoft Age of Empires III: The WarChiefs

Strengths: Three Indian tribes were included.

Weakness: Very overpriced and very lame.

I love the Age of Empires series. I have every game with the expansions. I thought that this expansion would be much better from past experience, but I was wrong. The additions are so minuscule that this would have made a better patch than an expansion. There were so many other things that could have been added, I don't know why Microsoft made this expansion so bad. Age of Empires II was their...

AOE3 Warchiefs Expansion

Strengths: None

Weakness: Not worth an expansion pack price

This is pretty weak expansion. It adds 3 new Indian civilization. Compared to past expansion packs in the Age of Empire series, the Warchiefs expansion ranks lowest in added content. I got this expansion pack around 6 months after it was released. If you join the multiplayer rooms now, there are not many people playing. In fact, there are more people playing AOE3 than Warchiefs expansion. That...

Adds excitement to the AOE original game

Strengths: new maps, unique situations, new features

Weakness: non if you love playing AOE

If you own Age of Empires III, then this is the expansion pack you want to have. While the standard AOE III includes many war fighting elements (firepower), War Chiefs adds new excitement by controlling American tribes and add new fighting strategies not included in the original AOE III. There is even a playing mode that can turn into kind of a game of roullete, called "Revolution". This is a big...

Age of Empires III: The WarChiefs (Expansion Pack,...

Strengths: Not many

Weakness: Weak expansion pack

The original Age of Empires III is a great game, and I thought purchasing this would add to my enjoyment of the game and/or expand the game (after all it's called an expansion pack). It does add 3 additional nations/tribes, but doesn't really add more than that. Kind of dissapointed with this.

Age of Empires 3: Warchiefs

Strengths: More AOE3 fun, 3 additional nations, upgrades to existing nations

Weakness: None

AOE3: Warchiefs is the first expansion to the Age of Empires 3 game. This expansion adds three native american tribes as playable nations... previously in AOE3 you could only play as a European nation and the native Americans were only there to ally with to get some additional warriors and technologies. The game adds the Aztecs, Sioux and Iroquois as playable nations. The native American nations...

On the warpath.

Strengths: Three new factions to play. Adds some new ways to play and win AoE.

Weakness: It's just an expansion.

I think War Chiefs is a nice little expansion. it adds three new indian tribes. nd the way those tribes playa dn what they can do can seem somewhat different than what the traditional factions can do. Enough so that they really have to be played differently. Which si both good and bad because it does change the nature of the tactics and stragey in the game for good or ill. But overall, this is an...

Age of Empires 3: WarChiefs

Strengths: Great graphics, Lots of new stuff, Easy to use multiplayer.

Weakness: Rather small expansion, Gameplay doesn't feel as smooth as AGE 2.

The first expansion pack for the third Age of Empires game focuses on the native American tribes of the "New World" that the base game introduced us to. Like most expansion packs this one comes with an all new campaign mode and new units, maps and techs to spice up those multiplayer matches.

A Solid continuation of the AOE Series

Strengths: Campaign Mode Graphics

Weakness: Requires more powerful processor than noted on the box

Being a fan of the Age of Empires Series, I recently purchased Age of Empires III with the Warchiefs expansion. I was not disappointed at all until I got into a navy battle and the game slowed to a crawl on a Intel Dual Core 1.8Ghz laptop (thus only a 4 star rating). Other than that the graphics are great. I love campaign mode its challenging and different. I still have to play straight AOE III...

Age of Empires III: The WarChiefs

Last year Ensemble Studios released its latest entry into the Age of Empires series. Many people didn’t like the idea of a Home City as well as other things the developers put in, but I loved it. I never had so much fun playing this game with my friends or online. I really liked all of the innovations that this game had, and how well it looked in comparison to other games in the same genre; the...
