Far Cry: Vengeance

A unique experience or a bland experience?

Strengths: Wiimote works quite well. Simple mindless shooting which can be sometimes enjoyable.

Weakness: Graphics are bland. Enemy AI is horrible. No online multiplayer. Single player is dull and uninspired. Music and voice acting is very poor.

Ubisoft's FarCry: Vengeance is one of those titles most Wii owners were looking forward to when it was first announced. After watching the initial trailers and seeing some screenshots It seemed promising, and FarCry for the PC and XBox were rather highly rated titles when they were released years ago. not close but pretty far.

Strengths: Lots of weapon and fun vehicles.

Weakness: Bad graphics, slow fps at some point, use control needs some work. Weak AI.

I've played the PC version which is far better then the wii version. Seemed like there had rushed this product. If you looking to buy this, rent it or buy at a super discount, because you will be disappointed like me.

Not the best shooting out there for the Wii

Strengths: Nice variety of guns and cars to drive. Good music during game play

Weakness: Low frame rate

I was disappointed by the game from the start. The intro movie is not smooth. There is a half second pause every few seconds. Overall the game play is like the original PC version, it is fun and challenging. The story is good and it takes a little time to get use to the remote. There are many good reviews on other sites and some no so good reviews. I would advise you to rent this game and try it...

Best left on other consoles

Strengths: Decent game underneath

Weakness: Poor graphics, poor controls

Far Cry was one of the ill-advised ports from Ubisoft near the beginning of the Wii launch. Little time was put into improving the experience with the Wii controls. The graphics seem to have taken a step back from previous generation iterations. All in all, this game is an easy one to recommend avoiding.

A Far Cry from Far Cry.

Strengths: It's Far Cry.

Weakness: Not the best port of Far Cry.

Far Cry Vengence is an okay game. But all the other ports are great, whille the version for the Wii is Meh. The controls are okay on the Wii but they can seem awkward at times. The graphics and ai aren't as good as in other versions. If you wnat to play Far Cry, which is a good game, get it for another system. Preferably PC or Xbox.

The good news about Far Cry Vengeance is that it is now one of the cheaper Wii titles available. It retails for $20 and can often be found for much less. Strengths: Fun for a while , use of WiiMote

Gameplay is worth buying

Weakness: graphics need much more improvement.

This game is good enough to spend time while out of town. Though it really isnt quite worth the money. You may want to wait until this game's price drops down a bit. Far Cry Wii Game - Stay Away

Strengths: Shooter Game, not much going for it.

Weakness: Controls feel odd, looks better on every other system

Do not touch this game. I bought this game for 20 dollars and it still not worth that much. the controls are terrible, I've played this on the xbox 360 first and loved it. on the Wii the controller makes it feel so odd, get Call of Duty 3 instead.

Farcry Vengeance
