Buy it for the single player

Strengths: Looks nice, controls are great, lots of multiplayer games

Weakness: Multiplayer games are hit and miss

Having played Super Monkey Ball 2 on the Gamecube, I was highly anticipating the Wii release with the new motion-sensing controls. The single player mode is better than I anticipated. The Wii controls really add to the ability to move your monkey through the various levels. There are a few changes and additions in this version. When navigating through the levels, you move the entire level instead...

SMB: Banana Blitz

Strengths: Tons of minigames

Weakness: controls

This game has tons of minigames for you and with your friends to play. The minigames are fun. It's kind of like Mario Party mini games. Some have alien captures, baseball, snowboarding, and all kinds of types. The controls for the single player mode might need to take some time. You need to get used to the controls at first. I bought this mainly for the minigames to play. The single player mode...

Fun Single Player, Disappointing Mini Games

Strengths: 50 Mini Games

Weakness: Some of the mini games are barely playable

Even though the concept of Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz is a perfect fit for the Wii's motion controls, the game overall is really disappointing. The main game, where you roll a monkey in a ball across a board, is still quite a bit of fun and the controls were easy to use. The party mode is where the game really fails. There are definitely several fun mini games here, but it's ridiculous how...

Monkey Ball on the Wii is one of the best launch...

Strengths: Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz has a lot of mini games.

Weakness: The lack of camera control can be frustrating in some of the boss battles.

In Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz there are plenty of party games to try out with friends, and some of them are a lot of fun. Some of the other party games are not as fun. The single player game is well made and will provide many hours of entertainment. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz is well worth the purchase, especially if you pick up four Wii Remotes.

Great main game, but the minigames falter

Strengths: Tons of minigames, great main story game

Weakness: The minigames are hit and miss with some really annoying or awkward controls

The main puzzle game is as good as the other Super Monkey Ball games and the Wii controls are responsive and just as good as the analog stick controls. The addition of a jump adds to the puzzles as well, so I think that part of the game deserves 5 stars. Where the game fails is in the area of minigames. While it has way more than previous Super Monkey Ball games, it's basically a waste since many...

Shock the Monkey.

Strengths: Ton of Minigames. Good Party Game.

Weakness: Not as much fun without partners. Game quality Hit or Miss.

Banna Blitz is a series of party and mini games and it's perfect for the Wii. The gameplay isn' very compelling on its own. But in a group it's a lot fo fun. There are a ton of different games to try. Unfortunately, Like many party compilations, all the games can't be winners. Some are uninteresting. But there are quite a few that are great. And with the Wii remote it puts a really new spin on...

Super Monkey

Strengths: 50 Mini games to Play

Weakness: Hard to overcome the controls

Lots of mini games to play with whole family. This is four players game. Different tunes for each mini game. Tunes are lovely too. I would rate this game 9 out of 10. You can use all movement of controls.

It's for the Wii!!

Strengths: Numerous minigames

Weakness: Controls for some.

There are many games for you and your friends to choose from. This is a pretty good party game for friends as well. The thing is though, there are many minigames that are not really that fun. However, since there are many minigames in this for you to choose from, you might not really care and enjoy yourself anyway. Overall, I'd say this game is alright.

FUN GAME

Strengths: LOTS OF CUTE MINI GAMES, GREAT FOR KIDS, NO VIOLENCE

Weakness: NONE I CAN THINK OF

MY 4 , 5 , AND 11 YEAR OLD LOVE THIS GAME! I EVEN LOVE TO PLAY THIS GAME. I THINK THIS IS A GREAT GAME FOR CHILDREN, EASY TO CONTROL. WORTH THE MONEY! OUR MOST PLAYED GAME!

Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz

Strengths: Mini Games are good, 50 mini games included. Added characters, easy to pick up main story.

Weakness: Main story gets very hard. Mini games get very repetitive.

Super Monkey Ball on the Nintendo Wii has some very good things, and some terrible things. The mini games are great... but only for the first 10, after that it feels like you are playing the same mini game over and over. Also, the main story gets very difficult and stressful. I suggest to not purchase this game for a child as the child will only play the first couple hours until it gets...
