Ace Combat X

Strengths: graphics, controls

Weakness: none

One of the best air combat titles I’ve played. It’s a fairly old title (released in ’06) but it’s holding up well. The graphics and audio (gotta have headphones) are good and the controls are easy to pick up and guide the aircraft’s many functions. One of the better features of this title, which is not found in first person vehicle type games, is the ability to be able to “turn your...

Great flying experience

Strengths: good graphics, stimulating

Weakness: no multiplayer in infrastructure mode

This game has great replay function at the end of each mission. You can change views to see it and save it on your memory stick. Haven't finished the entire game yet, but it's been really fun. You can tune up your planes by buying parts. You can sell and buy planes from the credit that you gain from missions. Wish it had multiplayer in infrastructure mode to make this game go that extra mile...

Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception

Intrigue and deception. Political leaders and the speculation of their actions. Thousands of lives lost as men continue pouring into battle. These are the words you'd expect to hear on CBS news. You may not, however, expect to hear them coming from your PlayStation Portable. Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception takes the journey, the gameplay, and the series' unique style to Sony's handheld for the...
