Great follow up game

Strengths: More of the orginal

Weakness: None so far

The game follows the originals style of being dark and a bit creepy. I would say the only downside so far is that the designers were concentrating on the fighting instead of a great new story line but hey I didn't finish the game yet so I could still be impressed.

The F.E.A.R. is back!

Strengths: Same great graphics and gameplay. More varied environments. New weapons and enemies.

Weakness: Higher difficulty level.

F.E.A.R. Extraction Point is the follow-up expansion pack to the first F.E.A.R. game. While not as long as the previous game, it feels like a better experience overall. More of the same

Strengths: Graphics, game play, price.

Weakness: Short time wise, no storyline.

F.E.A.R. is one of my favorite FPS games. I knew an expansion pack was out there and found this in the closeout bin, so I thought I'd give it a spin. It has the same game play and stellar graphics as the original. I was waiting for the story to unfold, but it really never did. It's an enjoyable game and I would recommended it if you liked the first installment. Still creepy as ever!

A little more to F.E.A.R

Strengths: great atmosphere, truly scary at some points, same incredible gun fights as the original game.

Weakness: requires the original game to play, only adds about 5-7 hours of game play, locations are exactly like the original game.

If you liked the first F.E.A.R game, you will love this expansion pack. Mostly because it looks exactly like the first game, fighting your way through more office buildings warehouses. Strengths: Graphics, Gameplay

Weakness: Storyline

More of the same great gameplay, graphics and visual effects make Extraction Point an expansion pack worthy of your hard earned dollars. My only real complaint is the lack of definite advancement to the storyline. You get a few glimpses of Ulma in certain scenarios, but it seems as though they were an afterthought. Supposedly a F.E.A.R 2 is in the works.
