Final Fantasy VIII

Strengths: it has a good storyline and its cool cuz you dont get money from battles, you are a SeeD and you get paid more by your rank

Weakness: you dont get exp from boss battles

this game is really cool because you go on a mission and you get to destroy the communication tower. then you get chased by a robot. its cool because your guide(Quistis Trepe) shoots the robot with a machine gun. It is cool with the weapons and the GF's. I recommend this to all of you RPG fans out there with a PSX or PS2

Final Fantasy VIII

Strengths: Very good storyline. Movie cuts almost reaching real level. FFX surpassed it but it can be considered best of PS.

Weakness: Too many resets to change Card game rules. Magic virtually useless and unlimited. No speech.

A great improvement over FFVII in graphics. The 2 leading characters are now household names of all FF fans. Limit breaks and GF summonings are great to watch.

Final Fantasy VIII

Strengths: the storyline, characters, and gameplay was excelent.

Weakness: the battle, magic, and GF system sucks big time it's way to complicated.

the game had agreat soryline but the battle system broght that down.the batle system should be less complicated so that people don't get confused just trying to set up who has what magic or who has which gf's which should be called something different. because why would something you have to fight for be your gardien if you can take care of youself without their help.

Final Fantasy VIII

Strengths: The 3d models are nicely rendered, game play is a bit shakey/choppy when there are alot of enemeies around, but other than that the character rendering is nice.

Weakness: the bosses are easy to defeat and the game play leaves much to be desired. they should have spent more time/money on the environment maps as well. A basic shoot'em up, with few frills and no extras. T

This game is easy to beat, and fun to play, but little else once you have become bored with the poor environment rendering. Rent it from Blockbuster first before buying!!

Final Fantasy 8

Strengths: 50+ hours of game play, tons of extras, great battle system, interesting story line, and gameplay never gets repeditive.

Weakness: absolutley none at all!

I own 60+ PS1 and PS2 games, and after 6 years, this is by far the best game I have ever played or owned. I love everything about this game. The battle system is so good in this game. I love how you can draw magic out of monsters and junction it to your characters. The boss battles are very fun too, and also, this game has tons of extras and a great ending!
