Great New Mega Man Game

Strengths: New Suit System, great controls, easy mode!

Weakness: No multiplayer or really any replay value

I've never been much of a mega man player, I've always died way too quickly. Thankfully in this game there's an easy mode so I can actually enjoy playing the game! The new suit system is great and there are many in the game with many different abilities to earn by beating other bosses. Not only does the game look good, but it's tons of fun to play and hopefully easy mode will make it so that I...

Great platformer game for the DS

Strengths: Improved graphics, new story, and new styles

Weakness: Still the same type of hack slash and shoot.

This new megaman series is new for the Nintendo DS, with improved graphics from earlier systems and with new storyline. This game series is one of the most innovative I had ever played in platforming games. You can use the stylus feature for some megamen abilities. Has great animated scenes in the game. You can also be able to choose between 2 main characters with different stories. I recommend...

Mega Man ZX

Strengths: A return to the side-scrolling fun of Mega Man's roots, very nice graphics for the DS

Weakness: Not too much use of touch screen (or second screen for that matter)

Mega Man ZX is a return to the side-scrolling 2D roots of the Mega Man franchise. The Nintendo DS has been a great platform for the rebirth of many great series and this is no exception. In this iteration you are a human who can transform into a number of X units in order to fight the Maverick robots. The game features multiple difficulty levels with "Easy" being a good introduction for new...

The Blue Bomber Returns

Strengths: Great graphics and control, much needed change to stale formula.

Weakness: Map system needs some work, could benefit from save anywhere feature(should be mandatory in portable games)

Mega Man is back again and he returns to 2-D platforming goodness. Capcom has decided to merge Mega Man gameplay with Metorid/Castlevania style exploration and results are refreshing. The game does have some faults but it is a great first attempt and if they fix the problems, the sequel could be fantastic.

Enjoyable (but sometimes frustrating) platformer

Strengths: Graphics are a plus; difficulty level is not too easy

Weakness: Map is not very well done; backtracking can be an annoyance to some

This was first foray into the Mega Man series since the days of Mega Man X on the Super Nintendo. I loved the original Mega Man series on the NES, so I was hoping this game would evoke some of the same feelings that I experienced with the original series. In some ways, the game succeeded, but in other ways, it didn't. I wasn't too keen on the need to backtrack through areas over and over in ZX....

Great addition to the series

Strengths: Great platforming action that is characteristic of mega man. Nice art and graphics.

Weakness: Map system is weak. Not much replay value. Touch screen implementation seems forced.

Mega Man ZX is the latest addition to the mega man series. In this game, the innovation is that you switch whole body armors (called biometals in this game) rather than just weapons. This opens up whole new possibilities for gameplay. The graphics are excellent, and the cutscenes are nice. The only flaw with this game is the map system, as it is confusing and doesn't really help you with finding...

Great Game!

Strengths: Same great classic game play with some new style!

Weakness: Doesn't utilize the touch screen as much. Any feature in the game that uses the touch screen is redundant--totally useless.

I really doubted this game at first. As a Mega Man veteran, I didn't think newer Mega man games could surpass the classic ones in game play and fun, but this game proved me wrong. Any person who enjoyed Mega Man as a kid or simply wants a neat side-scroller, then this is the ticket.

Best Megaman game avaiable on Nintendo consoles

Strengths: Great game play, Appealing design and sounds, great price at $19.99

Weakness: none.

Every video game players know about Mega Man series games. There are so many Mega Man games available for many different consoles. However Mega Man ZX is just perfect game for Nintendo DS. The game is lot like Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow where it uses dual screen make the game more appealing. The visuals are outstanding compared to previous version of the games and the great $19.99 value is...

Mega Man X meets Mega Man Zero?

Strengths: Recognizable Mega Man gameplay

Weakness: Map is useless, direction is lacking

Mega Man ZX continues to build upon the X and Zero series of games, but encounters some bumps in the road to success. The most glaring issue with the game is the rather useless inclusion of a map that doesn't help the player at all, and the related problem of getting lost with minimal assistance from the map or the game in general. If you can look past these issues, the core Mega Man gameplay is...

Mega Man ZX

Strengths: graphics, lots of abilities

Weakness: no save anywhere function

After a few sessions playing MM ZX, I'm enjoying it. The graphics are excellent and very smooth. It has a very familiar feel to past Mega Man titles which was a plus for me after not playing Mega Man since my SNES. The best part of the game is the ability to pick up or earn new moves/weapons. I won't bore/spoil you but suffice to say, it's fun to experiment with the different abilities and...

Mega Man ZX

I have enjoyed the classic Mega Man series ever since I was little. Mega Man 2 was one of my favorite games for the regular Nintendo. When the Super Nintendo came out I fell in love with Mega Man X as it took the series to the “next level” in many regards. Since that time many more Mega Man games have been released and in various genres, while some have done well others have failed. With the...
