Must play game on Xbox 360

Strengths: Nice graphic, large amount of enemy troops, unique characters.

Weakness: The US verson have some pretty bad voice acting. No save or check point through out the whole stage. Pretty buggy and no update.

This is an great game. I bought it off FYE when it's on sale for 19.99+ tax, which I think it's a killer price for a great game. The game play is really fun overall, however I find it some what buggy. The character selection somehow disappears all of the sudden, but my save are still there. So I had to start everything all over again which was frustrating.

Fun Game but Rushed

Strengths: Number of characters on screen, music, character designs, and orb sparks graphics.

Weakness: Short, some voice-overs are Resident Evil bad, hit detection order is off, graphics from a far are blurry.

Ninety-Nine Nights is a hack'n'slash game for XBOX 360. Basically you get to play 7 different characters during a war between both sides. The main story revolves around Inphyy and her quest for revenge for her fathers death. The problem with the stories of each individual character is that they are short and some happen in an alternate universe. Consider Inphyy's the only main storyline. The...

Beautiful Game, but it falls short of expectations...

Strengths: Character designs, number of on screen enemies, combo attacks, art, and designed by Tetsuya Mizuguchi!

Weakness: Save points, repetitive, short

Since release of the Xbox 360, Ninety Nine Nights (N3) is the game that I was the most excited about. I first played this game at Zero Hour and it was easily the most best looking game there! I was so excited since that time. This game is created by Tetsuya Mizuguchi, creator of Space Channel 5, Rez, Meteos and Lumines. This is his first attempt to move away from the music game field and into the...

A Real Stinker

Strengths: technical graphics i.e. lots of characters on the screen at one time.

Weakness: boring gameplay and poor AI, weak story worsened by over the top voice acting

This is a sad excuse of a once touted, exclusive 360 game. The story is very generic, humans vs. goblins sort, with the first character it's a tale of revenge against the goblins for the death of her father. Generic stories are okay but the script and poor voice acting makes the story almost unbearable. But I guess the horrible acting matches the funky character designs: a mixture of anime,...

Ninety-Nine Nights

Strengths: Multiple playable characters, Graphics

Weakness: No 2 player support

I suppose if you are a fan of the "hack n slash" genre...you may enjoy this game. The major turn off for me is that there is no gamesave checkpoint system in the game. If you die, you must start the level all over. Plus, the levels are long and found it difficult to stay alive to complete the level and have the game saved. I quickly became tired of starting over from scratch.

N3: Ninety-Nine Nights (Xbox 360)

Strengths: Good graphics and sound, numerous enemies, varied attacks, replay value with multiple characters

Weakness: Voice acting isn't good, a bit repetitive

N3: Ninety-Nine Nights is a hack-and-slash button-masher set in a fantasy realm. Similar to Dynasty Warriors, it's a hero-against-the-armies game, starting off with a single character and unlocking others through the game. The game looks great and the sound effect and music are equally good, though the voice acting leaves a bit to be desired. As the game progresses, different attacks, both melee...

Hack and Slash to the max

Strengths: Gorgeous Graphics, total domination

Weakness: Short game, save system

I bought this game knowing what I would get. I wanted a good hack and slash game for the 360 and it is what was delivered. There's literally hundreds on hundreds on enemies to defeat. If you don't like repetition, this game is not for you. But if you like wasting enemies with cool looking moves, a la Sauron in LoTR, then pick this up. The most annoying part of the game is the lack of saves. You...

N3

Strengths: Music and cut-scenes

Weakness: Repetitive

Ninety-nine Nights (N3) is a button mashing game. That is, you skill your enemies with thousands of buttons presses. So it gets boring quickly, even if you master all the combo-attacks and so on. Furthermore, the game is very repetitive. There is no checkpoint or save; you have to finish a level. If you got killed, you started from the beginning of a long level. The graphics are fine for close...

Ninety-Nine Nights

Strengths: Idea

Weakness: Gameplay

This game started off slow, however picked up a little bit into it. The fun started after you figured everything out. Then after you realized there was nothing left to figure out, the game becamse RIDICULOUSLY repetitive. I'd steer clear of this one for at least a while until the price comes down.
