Fun Short Game!

Strengths: fun, innovative!

Weakness: annoying music, too short, looks a bit kiddy

Finally a game worth purchasing for my sony psp. This game controls are simple and easy to understand and play. You simply move your blob character around obstacles by tilting the world to get him to the goal. The graphics are very smooth, though 2d. The music is very annoying and repetitive, I recommend muting the game and playing some music on your radio. The game is pretty short though, I was...

Fun, fun, fun!

Strengths: simple controls, great graphics and music

Weakness: can be challenging for some people

Wow, I was a bit skeptical of this game when recommended by a friend even after she explained the game play. But I got a deal and tried it. It is a load of fun. Game controls are simple so you can concentrate on the graphics and sound. Easy to learn, difficult to master but fun none the less. My 4 year old daughter just loves the graphica and sound. She call it Loco Loco. I would recommend solely...

Too Cute

Strengths: Cute. Great graphics, sound, and design. Fun.

Weakness: A bit too repetitively similar.

It's impossible not to fall in love with LocoRoco the first time you split your large LocoRoco into a dozen small, smiling, singing LocoRocos. They sing in harmony and have their own expressions. You'd have to be inhuman to not smile along and be filled with warm fuzzies. If LocoRoco were graded solely on charm and warm fuzzies, it would be the perfect game. Unfortunately, while it's a worthwhile...

Cute game!

Strengths: Bright colors. The game concept is easy to understand (only 3 buttons to push, after all!). Awfully cute design. Great physics programming. Catchy music.

Weakness: Some parts in the game are a bit too hard for me to maneuver. But that's just a minor deflect.

I think it is a great game for a handheld. Perfect thing for females who aren't gamers by nature. Overall this is a really cute game with charmingly simplistic ideas behind it.

Loco Roco

Strengths: cute, simple, fun, music, graphics

Weakness: short

A nice game with beautiful cutesy graphics. The game is simple. All you use the L and R buttons to tilt the LocoRoco planet. L to tilt left and R to tilt right. Press both L and R buttons then let go to make your LocoRoco jump. The music in this game is really great. It makes you want to sing along. It's funny, cute, and makes you smile. The only problem is that the game is short, but it has some...

Quirky fun!

Strengths: easy controls, great sound, fun!

Weakness: nothing I can think of

Fun game where you control the action by actually tilting the world! Very fun game I received for Christmas this year. I had already played the demo, the halloween demo, and the Christmas demo. The full game is just as fun and actually adds more to do. The levels are not too long so it is perfect for psp. You can actually get through most levels fairly easily but if you want to collect all the...

Loco Roco

Strengths: Very fun, bright and colorful, great music.

Weakness: Can be repetitive, last level much harder than the rest.

Loco Roco is a great puzzle/platformer game for the PSP. Don't let the cutesy graphics fool you, while the game is simple to pick up and play, it is a fairly deep and challenging game for the completist. The goal in each level of several worlds is to guide your little blob of a Loco Roco to the end of each stage. You do this entirely by using the shoulder buttons to tilt the world one way or the...

Title lead in good shape (round is a shape)!

Strengths: Cute characters, innovative play mechanics, unique sound/visuals, easy to pick up and play

Weakness: Repetitive game play, short overall length, lacks multiplayer

Sony's PSP has long been missing unique and innovative system sellers like Loco Roco, something Nintendo has never had a problem with on any of its handheld systems. Loco Roco actually reaches the high quality standards of many popular Nintendo handheld titles, so let's hope this is the start of a trend for PSP. Player will spend most of their time guiding their loco roco (a smalled colored blob)...

LocoRoco

Strengths: unique, colorful and just plain fun

Weakness: possibly too "cutesy"

All I can say is this title is hilarious and fun to play. It’s one of the very unique games I’ve played on any system. It’s bright, amusing and easy to play in short bursts which is what portable gaming should be. You control a blob and unlike most platformers, you move the environment, not the character. Think about those tilting mazes, getting the ball from one end of the maze to the...

Who knew being a blob could be so much fun?!

Strengths: Charming lead character, unique game play, memorable audio & graphics, easy for beginners

Weakness: Monotonous game play, only 40 short levels, no multiplayer support

Loco Roco is exactly the kind of new and unique franchise that the PSP really needed to help establish the system when it first came out. This game has got a cartoon graphic and catchy audio style that nobody who spends more than a few moments with it will forget. Most of the game play centers on maneuvering a small blob (the loco roco) through five different worlds of eight levels each. You'll...

LocoRoco

I am so sick of hearing people complain about the lack of creativity in a game, but these same people will never go out and purchase a game that is truly unique because it is “to different.” Here is the scenario I have come up with. People will complain about the lack of innovation in games, that everything is carbon copied off “insert popular game X” with a few tweaks. Some developers...
