Onimusha fighting!

Strengths: Multitap support, Megaman characters!

Weakness: Nowhere near as good as Super Smash Bros

Onimusha Blade Warriors is a Smash Bros rip-off. Now that that's out of the way, know that Blade Warriors is actually pretty decent. The game tries hard to adapt elements from the previous Onimusha into fighting game form, which didn't quite translate to a breath taking fighter. However, the fighting is fast-paced and the story mode is a nice time sucker. NOBUNAGA!! Magoichi is Superman!

Onimusha Blade Warriors

Strengths: Very engaging, fun, many modes

Weakness: None. The game is not too hard, yet not too easy

I found Onimusha Blade Warriors to be an awesome game. I enjoyed the Story Mode particularly. Furthermore, I liked that the characters in the game came from the original Onimusha game. It is a special treat for the people that already are familiar with Onimusha. I would recommend this product for others to buy because there are many characters to choose from, it is a blast playing through the...

Onimusha - buy it!

Strengths: Fun gameplay, great combos, lots of replay value

Weakness: Character choices

This is a fun, multiplayer setup that provides some great combo "hack-and-slash" moves and lots of action. It's perfect to play with friends, and has some really nice graphics that add to the game quite a bit. My only real dislike of the game would simply be some of the character types/choices, but this is a minor issue. Drop some cash on this one, it's well worth the play and quite addictive!

Onimusha Blade Warriors

Strengths: Onimusha Blade Warriors has a variety of characters to choose from. The hectic action makes for great fun, especially when playing with friends in multiplayer.

Weakness: Although there are a variety of characters, each one is almost identical in fighting techniques. Would it hurt to add some special moves that are exclusive to each character?

I could definitely see that the developers of OBW tried going for a Super Smash Bros. feel, but in the end it failed. While the game is still good for spur-of-the-moment action, and a great game to play with friends, it feels more like a shoddy game with difficult controls and not enough of its own style than the great multiplayer fun-fest it was intended to be.

Onimusha Blade Warriors

Strengths: Lots of unlockables and characters

Weakness: Shallow gameplay, kind of repetitive

Onimusha: Blade Warriors is a spinoff of the Onimusha series of games. It reminds me alot of Super Smash Brothers Melee for the Gamecube in it's presentation and gameplay. It features lots of unlockables and characters (including some classic Capcom characters), but the gameplay on the whole feels shallow and could stand to be a bit deeper. Not a revolutionary title by any means, but it still...

Onimusha Blade Warriors

Strengths: Lots of characters from the Onimusha franchise, cool items, tons of unlockables, frantic 4 player multiplayer goodness

Weakness: Might not appeal to newcomers of the franchise, 1 player can be bland,

Fans of Onimusha should instantly welcome this into your collection, its fundamentally Onimusha Smash Bros and it can be quite an enjoyable title. From my experience, I played this before any of the Onimusha titles and I had fun with it but not for too long. I put it on the shelf for awhile till after I played the Onimusha Triology that I went back and really played it. Its a lot more rewarding...

Onimusha Blade Warriors

Strengths: Lots of stuff to unlock in the story mode, multiplayer

Weakness: Presentation, how the jumping works, voice acting

Onimusha Blade Warriors is a multiplayer fighting game that can have up to 4 players fighting at once. The game has characters from the Onimusha games in much the same fashion that Super Smash Brothers melee has Nintendo characters in it. The game can be beaten in about 15 minutes much like alot of fighting games but has alot of stuff to earn so you will have to go though the game with different...

Onimusha Blade Warriors

Strengths: Super Smash Brothers (N64/GC) style gameplay on the PS2! Battle with characters from the Onimusha series and unlock playable characters Megaman EXE and Megaman Zero!

Weakness: Takes a good while to get used to the controls, but once the controls are somewhat mastered, the game is extremely fun!

This game is the "Super Smash Bros." that PS2 owners have been waiting for! Finally, a game for the PS2 that satisfies this criteria. There are over 20 characters I believe (I have yet to unlock them all) and playing as Megaman is one of the best experiences ever! Each character's storyline is about 10-13 stages long, so each storyline can be beat in about an hour. This isn't much plot...

Onimusha is Back! - sort of

Strengths: *It features the characters from a great series - Onimusha* *Give the fans of the series a different setting to play in*

Weakness: *Not the strongest game of the genre*

Onimusha is BACK! - sort of. If you've played the trilogy, you might expect more of the same - a Resident Evil meets feudal Japan action title. But you won't get that. Instead, you have a Super Smash Bros clone. If we were simply comparing Blade Warriors to Smash Bros, Smash Bros would emerge victorious. However, one of the main draws is the franchise of Onimusha. Instead of fighting the evil...

Onimusha Blade Warriors

A 3D fighting game that isn't like other 3D fighting games, Onimusha Blade Warriors (OBW) is another entry in the Onimusha series, only this time, the heroes of both games Samunsake and Jubei finally come together in order to answer some unresolved questions like: Who's sword is sharper? Who's female sidekick kicks harder in your side and if a tree falls in a forest and no one is there to hear...

Onimusha Blade Warriors (ps2)

Let's get one thing clear right now: the main reason why the Super Smash Bros. games were so enjoyable was because the characters that populated it were so memorable. But no matter how badly Capcom wants it to be true, the cast of Onimusha just doesn't cut it when it comes to this kind of game. This is primarily why Onimusha Blade Warriors feels so half-assed and contrived. The absurdity of Samus...

Onimusha Blade Warriors (ps2)

If you were to look at three of Capcom's most popular games, the Resident Evil, Onimusha and Devil May Cry series, one could decipher an interesting lineage from the first to the last. Resident Evil is just as infamous as it is famous for its set cameras and awkward controls, of which, to a certain degree, the succeeding games retain those characteristics. Onimusha breaks from the strict...
