Ranch Them

Strengths: Oddly addicting to create monsters

Weakness: Minigames are repetitive

The graphics this time are nicer than previous installments. However there isn't as much focus as there was with tournament. They are now simply plot devices and all it takes is once go through to finish them. The music in this game is forgettable unfortunately. It is still fun to create monsters though. I'd recommend this to Monster Rancher fans only.

Strengths: Graphics

Weakness: More of a RPG than its ancestors

Monster Rancher EVO is the fifth installment in the Monster Rancher series. Although it retains its monster breeding element, it is more heavily focused on RPG gameplay. It seems like a calculated departure from the series. It is more like a traditional Japanese RPG. Graphics is superior to the previous installments. It looks much better with shading. Overall, Monster Rancher EVO is a decent game...
