Great Game

Strengths: FUN, Addictive Play, Autosave, Low Price

Weakness: Characters (even bad guys and bosses) look uber-cute

I wanted a simple but highly fun game to play for short periods of time. This game fits the bill - autosave function lets you save and resume at a later time. Since it is the exact megaman game from back in the day, no need to comment on how fun the game itself is. Would definitely recommend, especially with the sub-$20 pricetag!

Awesome remake

Strengths: Classic Mega Man gameplay with a facelift, two new bosses

Weakness: controls are a little weird sometimes.

Mega Man 1 for the NES is one of the best sidescrollers of all time, and this remake only makes it better. There are two new bosses to fight, so it's not all of the same old Mega Man 1. The only thing that annoyed me was the Yellow Devil boss fight changed so as hard as it was to do in the original it's now hard, but different and you have to get used to it all over again.

A great remake of a slightly fun game

Strengths: New levels, new enemy and boss attacks, new bosses, and a graphical remake of the first game.

Weakness: New boss levels are easy to run through

In somewhat of a shocker, Capcom has remade the original MegaMan game for the PSP. Unlike some developers who just update a game's graphics and do not remix the games levels or enemies, Capcom has both remade the game and also created the original game's levels and enemies using this enhanced engine while keeping the old NES music intact. The remake "New Style" enhances the enemies by quite a few...

Fun game, great remake!

Strengths: Strengthened the original NES Megaman in graphics and voices. Offers a chance to modify the difficulties. Many play modes and mini games available.

Weakness: The sounds effects are better but the music is not good as the original one.

This is a interesting game. You can play not only Megaman but also all the Bosses and even the girl assistant robot, that is very fun! In addition, it is very user-frendly to let players modify the difficulties. The easy mode is exactly that:very easy, so players can learn how to control Megaman in this mode before trying the harder modes. Moreover, players can create their own stages and...

One of the best PSP games

Strengths: Interesting and lot of variety.

Weakness: addictive

There are two versions for this game a) newly designed levels and b) classic version. It suits the old player and also new player It has colourful graphics; and interestingly has an editor that lets one create your own designs; (I have not tried it yet) The challenge mode is highly addictive. and the levels go on with higher level of difficulties. On the whole it would be a good game for the PSP...

MegaMan Powered Up

Strengths: Great graphics, cute characters

Weakness: Pretty hard

If you like Megaman games, you will like this one. This is a remake of the original Megaman for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It contains the new remake version and the classic style stages with better graphics. When you beat some of the stages, you can unlock bosses and use them to play through the stages. You can unlock Gutsman and Cutman. The graphics are good and the character designs...

Classic Redefined

Strengths: Remake of the original Mega Man + A New Version that differs from the original + Loads of extra content!

Weakness: Very HARD! (if you consider that a weakness)

This is a must have for PSP owners. Cheap Price & you get basically 2 different games. Old Style is just like the original Mega Man with updated graphics. New Style is brand new (hence the title) and even allows you to unlock the Bosses! Plus there's 100 challenges to complete. As well as downloadable content. What are you waiting for? GRAB this game NOW!

Mega Man Powered Up

Strengths: A worthy remake in every way

Weakness: Graphics could have been better

I'm amazed by how great this game turned out. As a Mega Man fan, I only had lukewarm expectations for this title but Capcom far surpassed them. Powered Up is a remake of the original Mega Man and adds to the legendary gameplay of Mega Man. The graphics could have been better, but when the gameplay is refined to the point of near perfection, it really doesn't matter. This is possibly the best game...

Mega Man Powered Up (PSP)

Strengths: Because it is a remake, you get to challenge the original, perhaps most interesting Bosses, plus 2 new ones. Short, but lots of replayability.

Weakness: Overall "kiddie" presentation does not appeal to older gamers. Since it is a remake of the 1st NES MegaMan, you may not appreciate it as much if you played the original.

Mega Man Powered Up (PSP) is a good game, especially considering its relatively low price. At first, I was turned off by the overdone kiddie "saturday-morning-anime" style, voices and dialog. The presentation is clearly aimed at younger gamers. After some playtime, I got past the presentation and appreciated this game for its appealing old-school gameplay. It is also a nice portable game because...

Blue Bomber is back!!

Strengths: Echanced graphics, portable, make your own stages and share them with friends!

Weakness: If you've played this before, you played it before

I was drawn in by the cute cover art and the words, Mega Man. This is basically a remake of old school Mega Man back in the day. Everything is enchanced and you can even make your own levels. You can also get levels from friends and play them. This is a solid buy.

Mega Man Powered Up

The Mega Man series has been around for nearly 20-years now, and just as many releases later it seems like the Blue Bomber is still going strong. Over this time period the series has definitely gone through its ups and downs; we’ve seen best with the likes Mega Man 2, and we’ve been forced to deal with the worst as well with Mega Man X7. But even through the bad, it’s hard to deny that Mega...
