Fight Night Round 3 (Xbox 360)

Strengths: Impressive graphics and sound, intuitive controls, well-done multiplayer

Weakness: Limited selection of pre-created fighters and venues

Fight Night Round 3 is the latest installment of the boxing franchise, on the Xbox 360. The game looks great and sounds great, and the lack of on-screen displays helps add to the realism. The controls take a bit of getting used to, though they're very intuitive and well-laid out. The gameplay is very good in the single player, though the limited selection of pre-created fighters and venues is a...

Come get some

Strengths: How real the fighters are, the control play is perfect, the OKs explains it all.

Weakness: It should have more trainers, promoters and a better story lines like punch out.

I had to put Halo away for a few weeks when I brought this game, called the guys up and then it started we were up the whole night duking it out and trading words, its the best boxing game I've played since punch out. I high recommend you get this game if your a boxing fan or just try it out.

What a Knockout!

Strengths: Amazing graphics and sound, with great controls and gameplay to go along with it

Weakness: Only a handful of boxing venues; commentary and entrance music quickly become repetitive

Fight Night Round 3 was one of the Xbox 360's first true showpieces of 2006, and it was an instant hit (bad pun intended) with gamers and the gaming press. It's easy to see why: With nearly photorealistic boxers and intuitive controls (you use the analog sticks to mimic the motions of a boxer), FNR3 is a treat for the eyes and the hands. The game was well worth $60 when it was originally...

Better as you get better!

Strengths: Great graphics, excellent control set-up, be an old boxing legend

Weakness: Limited play modes may limit replay value for some, no Mike Tyson character!

Fight Night is an excellent boxing simulation game for both novices and enthusiasts. While the learning curve is a bit steep for some, the game gets better and more engaging as you learn how to each punch works (jab, hook, upper cut), how to string together combos, how to block and lean, and use strategy against each boxer you face. Also, the training regimens required before each fight take some...

realistic boxing

Strengths: great graphics and controls

When you see the boxers going into the ring you realize how much games look like reality now. The movements, expressions, and even sounds of the boxers make you feel what is happening. If you land a hard shot, you can see the face of the opponent ripple with the impact. If you get hit by too many good punches, your boxer sways around like he's about to topple. You can see cuts and swelling and...

Great all around game

Strengths: Many characters, very realistic, great graphics, smooth gameplay

Weakness: takes a bit long to get used to controls and learn how to use them

Fight Night Round 3 is by far the best game ever. If you do career mode and create your own fighter it is very interesting to see who he can beat and when he will be ranked higher. Good graphics add to the spectacular game play. Buy this game you'll like it.

punch out who?

Strengths: The fighters really look like the people they're dipicting! one major plus to this game is they took those extra things off the screen like the time and your health meter.

Weakness: the only complaint i have is that i kno im going to beat it eventually and i dont want the knock outs to stop!

this game is without a doubt the best boxing game to come along. Its been a long time comming from the first boxing game where it all started, Punch Out all you older gamers will kno about that game its a classic. but this game is a game you need to have if you like realistic looking fighters real movements even the spectators look much better. You will not be able to put your controller over...

Outstanding

Strengths: NEXT GEN graphics, great gameplay

Weakness: single player could use a bit more depth

The graphics in Fight night round 3 are the highlight of this game. The best action can be found with friends on xbox live or 2 player action on same console. I thought the single player could use more options. I can't wait for Round 4!

Surprisingly Good

Strengths: realistic graphics, fun multiplayer game

Weakness: create a boxer mode not robust

i had heard this game got good reviews but i didn't really think i would like it. i was first introduced to the xbox version of this game and to my surprise, it was really fun playing against your friend. the game even got everyone else in the room interested and involved. i then had to get it for xbox 360, if only for the graphics. on the xbox 360, the gameplay is just as good and the graphics...

This made me buy my 360

Strengths: Awesome graphics, sound, multiplayer

Weakness: Analog stick control is sometimes imprecise

Get your boxing loving friends together and punch each others face in. I love this game!!! The graphics truly show what next gen is all about, and that is on a standard definition television. Control with the sticks is fun, but can get frustrating when you are really getting wailed on. Counter punching is the secret to success. Rent or buy, you gotta at least play it once.

Fight Night Round 3

When it comes to boxing, EA Sports Fight Night franchise has not failed to bring us a game that not only delivers a realistic simulator but a game fun enough to hook even the most casual of fight fans. While the past games in the series have been getting better and better each year, the introduction of the Xbox 360 demands a next-generation game that sets itself apart from the other versions....
