This could be the start of a beautiful friendship

Weakness: Camera can be irritating

So I just jumped right into this game without reading the instruction manual, and I have to say I see a lot of promise. I was slightly disappointed with the "Attract Mode"/Start Screen video, as it used in-game video instead of a rendered/CG. However, the intro once you start a new game was sufficient to set the mood. I have had this game for some time, but only recently got around to opening it...

Hunter the Reckoning: Redeemer

Strengths: Cool combos; character upgrades; solid animations; multiplayer

Weakness: Character balancing issues; confusing story line

Hunter the Reckoning: Redeemer is the follow-up to the solid Hunter the Reckoning for XBox. While there have been many significant improvements over the first game, some issues still exist. For example, the bosses at the beginning of the game seem to be tougher to beat than the later ones. This leads to a rather unsatisfying experience on the whole. However, the most severely flawed aspect of...

Hunter: The Reckoning - Reedemer (Xbox)

Strengths: 4-person co-op gameplay, enjoyable hack-and-slash action,

Weakness: Poor camera angle, can be quite difficult, no online play

Hunter: The Reckoning - Redeemer is a good horror-themed hack-and-slash game. Five playable characters are available, and up to 4 players can play at once. Each character has different abilities, and they work well as a team. Numerous choices of ranged weapons and magic are available. The gameplay is pretty good, though the camera angle gets in the way more often than it should. Some parts are...

Pretty Good Game

Strengths: Good camera angles

Weakness: Game is very short

This is a good game for a hack/slash game. It follows right in line with Buffy and Legacy of Kain. The video game is very short. $20 is the most I would spend for this game, get it used.

Hunter

Strengths: great hack and slash gameplay

Weakness: levels are too short

Hunter the Reckoning: Redeemer is an excellent horror themed game for the Xbox. once again, the town of ashcroft is overrun by the forces of evil and must once again be cleansed by special individuals who have the innate gift and ability to see these demons and purge them from the face of the earth and send them back to the abyssmal realm that they came from. If you played the first Hunter game,...

Hunter The Reckoning: Redeemer

Strengths: Four player co-op, lots of enemies to kill

Weakness: Bosses can be extremely difficult

Hunter The Reckoning: Redeemer is the second Hunter game on the Xbox. This game takes place a few years after the first game ended. The four original characters are back, but the girl that you saved from the first game is grown up and also a playable character this time around. The gameplay is a lot of hacking and slashing with some ranged combat thrown in for good measure. Each character has...

Hunter the Reckoning: Redeemer for Xbox

Strengths: Its 4 player multi-player.

Weakness: Its not as good as the original and faulty camera system.

Hunter the Reckoning: Redeemer (HRR) is a hack n slash game for XBOX. HRR is the sequel to the original Hunter the Reckoning (HR). In this version they add in a new playable character. The little girl from the first HR. The game plays similar to the first one, but the camera has changed for the worse. It zooms in too much some times to the point that you can't see where the enemies are coming...

Hunter Reckoning Redeemer

I reviewed Hunter: The Reckoning for this very website a year and a half ago, and I dug it. Now I'm reviewing Hunter: The Reckoning -- Redeemer, and I can barely tolerate it. What the heck happened? Have I been spoiled by an 18-month diet of good and great action games? Have the designers at High Voltage delivered the rare inferior video-game sequel? Or was I feeling unusually good in June of...

Hunter: The Reckoning - Redeemer

There are just some games that evokes certain pleasant memories that involve a group of friends (classics such as Gauntlet and Rampage come to mind) that made playing the game such a sheer joy. In keeping with the tradition, Hunter: The Reckoning brought back that same warm and fuzzy feeling that only a good multiplayer action game can bring with the Xbox. So it was something of a pleasant treat...

Hunter Reckoning Redeemer

The last time we ventured to Ashcroft to do battle with supernatural baddies, we came away addicted to the multiplayer gameplay of the Hunter: The Reckoning universe. The White Wolf property is back again on Xbox with Hunter: The Reckoning Redeemer which actually does a lot to live up to its name. The redeeming qualities of this latest action-slasher from High Voltage include improved graphics,...
