Product Details of Infected

Description

It's Christmas time in New York City. A strange virus has appeared in the city, turning seemingly normal people into insane, violent Infected. Rookie Officer Stevens is one of the first victims of the Infected. But unlike others, Stevens is stangely immune and doesn't lose control. The mysterious Dr. Schaeffer discovers that Stevens' immune blood can be used to destroy the otherwise unkillable Infected. Schaeffer creates a special "viral gun" that fills shells with blood from Stevens' arm and blasts them straight into the Infected, causing them to splat spectacularly.

Hold a zombie apocalypse in the palm of your hand. ....

Strengths: Zombie-shooting arcade action, 35 missions, solid soundtrack, online support

Weakness: limited character models, weak multiplayer, short overall length, limited replay value

With the increased interest in zombie-related films in recent years (28 Days Later, Land of the Dead, etc.), it's not surprising that someone thought to bring a zombie-shooting third-person arcade title to the PSP. You get a lot of fast-paced action with Infected but its game play doesn't pack a whole lot of depth or diversity. Infected includes 35 single-player missions, but all of them are...

Virus

Strengths: Easy to pick-up arcade action

Weakness: Dated graphics, limited depth

When I heard about the games ability to "infect" other PSPs I had try it out. It is a very easy game to pick up with 30+ short missions it makes a good alternative, a almost casual game choice on the PSP. The game play is very simple, kill everything that moves, no puzzles, no inventory, no ammo! The simple arcade action reminds me a bit of Robotron, plus I really like the in game humor....

Zombies shooter

Strengths: Fun theme, Brilliant music

The background music is pretty good though & the up-gradables & unlockables do provide a little more value to the game. But quite often you will find yourself doing same stuff over & over again as you deal with the zombies. This takes away a...

Infected

Alright, here is the premise: as a rookie NY cop you were hoping to be knee deep in the action, but alas, you are sent to the tree lighting ceremony at Rockefeller square. In what can only be described as "anti-festive" a zombie Santa and several other undead suddenly appear and begin snacking on the good citizens of New York and the undead numbers begin to grow quite rapidly. In a strange twist...
