Spider-Man (Gamecube)

Strengths: Gameplay that evokes the 'Spider-Man' feeling

Weakness: Extremely Difficult!

I enjoyed this game. As others have commented it does an admirable job of using the plot of the movie and expanding it into areas not seen on the screen. I appreciated the varios training modes (and highly recomend playing through them all before playing the actual game, as boring as it is.) The various training boards really sharpen the skills you need in order to be successful in the game...

spider-man

Strengths: Stick to the subject

Weakness: length, depth

Spider-Man the movie for GCN does what a good movie game should do. It takes the events and ephemera in the license and expands on them while staying true to the source. You will swing from NY skyscrapers, fight street thugs and duke it out with the green goblin. Spider-Man manages to do a good job of recreating the Peter Parker experience by rendering a good amount of cityscape as you swing from...

An OK title.

Spiderman: The Movie is your average movie game. The game is short and repetitive, but you do ulock the ability to play as the Green Goblin(With glider and weapons) after finishing as Spiderman. So that does boost the length a little bit. Overall I don't recomended it, as there are plenty of other better games out there that are cheap.

Decent Spiderman Action

Strengths: Lots of combat and airborne moves, great game for the fans

Weakness: Short, not enough super-villians

Defend the city from the clutches of evil with all-new combat move and dizzying airborne acrobatics. Move through stunning scenes from the movies as you explore enormous city environments with newfound manuefverability. Battle the world's toughest villians, including Shocker, Vulture and the Green Goblin.

Spider-Man the Movie for GameCube

Strengths: If you're a Spiderman fan and want a game with his IP, then you should enjoy this game. Not a bad adventure.

Weakness: While there are a number of combos in the game, the game can be finished with just a few combos; so the game ends up being a button masher.

Spiderman-the Movie is a good game; however, the game tends to be at times either too easy or just kinda boring. (This may be because I'm not a huge Spiderman fan and just could not get into the story.) The game has several missions and boss battles that must be completed until you get the final boss battle with the Green Goblin. Use of Stan Lee, Toby Maguire and William Dafoe for voice acting...

Spider-man

Strengths: The graphics is amazing!!!

Weakness: The ONLY complaint there is to have about this game is the fact that you can't land on the street, when you're swinging around the city.

This is one of the best games I've ever played. Of course, that was before Spider-man 2 came out. Your surroundings look perfectly real, and the characters on the screen mirror there film counterparts in amazing detail. If you are a Spider-Man fan, there is no doubt you should buy this game.

Spider-man the game actually does the movie justice....

Strengths: A decent movie-to-video-game translation, expands on the film, useful training mode, open GTA-style sandbox game play, narration by Bruce Campbell, solid sound/graphics

Weakness: Frustrating control issues, sluggish camera movement, missing Xbox-exclusive areas and boss, short overall length, repetitive bad guys

Movie-to-video-game translations have historically offered developers a chance to simply cash in on a popular license, but Spider-man the game does a decent job of bucking this trend. While the game play isn't phenomenal, Spider-man's latest gaming experience won't disappoint you like many superhero games do. Basically, you follow Spider-man through the events of the recent film, and the game...
