Trace Memory is an adventure game for the Nintendo DS. Ten years ago, Ashley's parents suddenly disappeared while researching human memory for a secret government lab. Now a clue leads her to the mysterious island to piece together the traces of her past. It is up to gamers to figure out the truth from the clues on the island. Puzzles must be solved in order to advance in the game.

Decent Adventure Game for Kids

Strengths: Great story, short enough

Weakness: Gets boring quickly for advanced players, annoying soundtrack

In this game you have to solve puzzles to advance. It is pretty easy except if you miss something and have to go back to check everything again. Gets boring quickly as it is the same the second time you play. Soundtrack is pretty annoying, but can turn off the sound.

Strengths: ok for the price

Weakness: too hard for small children

Bought this for my son and he was discourage right away he said it was to hard the only one that has enjoyed it its my 13 year old daughter not for smaller kids.

An ok game

Strengths: Good use of DS functionality

Weakness: Short length

The game tells an interesting story. It uses the old point and click adventure model from PC gaming history's past, which works well with the DS stylus. The stylus, and even the microphone in some parts, are used well for solving puzzles. However, for the most part the puzzles are not too difficult. The game's short length is a little disappointing.

This is one of the best games for those who are into reading games. This game has very good interactivity with the DS. The story of the games is very good and the puzzles are fun. The Story of the game starts when you receive a DS and then you are in search of your father. The game has a great story . I recommend this game for every first DS game owners.

Trace Memory is a fine DS text adventure style game, with a decent story and compelling characters. The graphics and sound are excellent, as is the writing. The puzzles are generally interesting, though the replay value is fairly low.
