Good Snowboarding Fun for the 360!

Strengths: Realistic, Strong graphics, and music. Gamplay is fun.

Weakness: Weak online features.

I'm a huge fan of the SSX series. Back in the day I enjoyed Coolborders and I've tried to get into the Amped series back when it was prominent on the XBox. With Amped 3, there's a nice gateway into the more realistic series for the XBox on the 360. The game is fun and provides a strong single player and multiplayer that leaves little to complain about. The music is fun, but generally seems to be...

Crazy Fun - Check your bargain bin

Strengths: Funny with a little eccentric sense of humour, some breathtaking visuals

Weakness: Game is short & not much for multiplayer

This is a snowboarding game that will keep you grinning for quite sometime with its funny lines & visuals. And you are also treated with some cool tricks & a story mode that is fun to complete. But the fun is over too soon & you wish they had made the game longer. But its pretty good while it lasts & besides snowboarding you also get to control sledge & snowmobile. For those looking for some head...

Amped 3 (Xbox 360)

Strengths: Great graphics and sound, impressive trick list

Weakness: No online multiplayer, difficult at times

Amped 3 brings the Amped series onto the Xbox 360. Less of a over-the-top game like the SSX series, it's more realistic than those games. Amped 3 looks good and sound good, though it's a bit difficult to pull off some of the trickier moves due to the controls. There isn't any online multiplayer, though it's a small failing.

Still fun but not as good as the previous versions

Strengths: More realistic boarding, good graphics, good replay value

Weakness: Most of the upgrades from the previous games are not that good. Cheesy video clips done in claymation with a really annoying voice.

Amped in general is a great video game series. Their first two games were so cool for the X-box. This one was more of an expansion pack then a real new game. I have not come across anything really new except for some annoying announcer who dubs over some claymation stuff. If you love amped, it is still as fun as the previous versions but I was really hoping for some creativity on their part.

A respectable third title in the series.

Strengths: solid boarding, good graphics

Weakness: lack of online play or multiplayer over LIVE, difficult challenges

Amped 3 is a respectable third title in the Amped series of games. The graphics are good and the controls can be a challenge at first, but you will adjust to them with some practice. The controls are not nearly as difficult as they were in the previous Amped games on the original XBOX. On the 360 they are more "pick up and play" rather than "practice and master." I was extremely disappointed that...

A Review of Amped 3 (Xbox 360)

Strengths: Amazing Gameplay, Stellar Graphics, Large Explorable Areas

Weakness: Weak Multiplayer Modes

This is the most amazing Snowboarding simulator / arcade game out there! This is Tony Hawk meets snow featuring full scare accurate and explorable resorts such as Snowbird! Do impossible tricks and customize everything! This is an awesome game and I highly recommend it!

Snowboard on the 360!

Strengths: Style Style Style!

Weakness: Some extremely difficult challenges

The first thing you will notice about this game is it's style. The cut scenes are very funny and well done. The gameplay is also very good on this game. There are several mountains you will travel to throughout the single player game which ensures you will have plenty to keep you busy. The soundtrack also offers a wide variety of genres and songs, which fit the theme of the game very well. The...

Great game.

Strengths: Amazing visuals, and visual style. Pick up and play, yet deep gameplay. Great single player mode, lots of customization.

Weakness: No online support! Extremely lacking in the multi-player department.

I picked this game up along with Call of Duty 2 for the Xbox 360, and I expect CoD2 to blwo Amped 3 away. Much to my surprise Amped 3 holds it's own very much so. Great visual style, great graphics, and a fantastic single player game. Amped 3 is a highly underated game.

Amped 3

Amped is here at the launch of the 360 just like it was at the launch of the original Xbox. This time around, things have drastically changed. Microsoft no longer publishes or develops Amped due to a transaction that occurred last winter. Microsoft sold off their sports division to 2k Games and with it came the developer Indie Built. Indie Built originally created the first two Amped titles and...
