After shopping 95% online this year for Christmas, I have to say this is by far the WORST company I have ever dealt with online! Go somewhere else to do your shopping! First time I have ever given a company an unsatisfactory rating!
The order number referenced above is my second attempt to receive merchandise from mlb.com. I first ordered a team tie prior to Thanksgiving. My shipping confirmation stated that the tie was being sent via freight! I contacted mlb.com about the mixed up shipping and a couple of days later I got an e-mail that arbitrarily cancelled my order (although my credit card was refunded). I tried again to order the same item on 12/11/07. My confirming e-mail stated that the tie was being sent via DHL which is the regular shipping service used. However, when I tried to track the package with the tracking number provided, it turned out to be an invalid number. I called mlb.com 2 times about the invalid tracking number & each time I was ASSURED that the tracking number meant nothing and that the representative could tell me that the item had left their warehouse & I would have delivery by 12/18/07. Turns out the item was NEVER shipped. Most incompetent merchant I have ever dealt with.
