Strengths: many characters to choose from, good graphics
Weakness: very short story mode, not many people online
Very fun. There are not many or at least not that are any good wrestling games on xbox. So this title is a very good one. I would highly recommend for a wrestling fan. If you dont like wrestling you are not going to like it. This game does have a very short story mode youll finish in about an 1 hour. The online is very bad though. So dont get it to play online there are never anyone on and they will quit most the time.

Strengths: characters are so real, u feel like ur livin the wrestlers' life
Weakness: my favorite stars are not in this game though like razor ramon and diesel (are they dead?)
it's the best wrestling game i've ever played in years. awesome graphics and the story is larger than life. I used to play WWF in PS1 a few years ago and man it has really evolved substantially, i want to crush all PS1 units that are still sold here (Phils.).

Strengths: Graphics-This game is beautiful. The characters really do look like there real life counterparts.
Features voices of wrestlers and commentators.
Online play.
Weakness: This game is extremely buggy.
Difficulty-You may win one match in seconds, yet the next will require to retry several times.
Wrestlemania XXI released with much hype after being delayed numerous times. One presumes the delays were to work on and improve the game, but this is a disaster. The only thing about this game that is done correctly is the graphics. Early releases of the game were so completely filled with glitches so as to make it unplayable. One copy I played froze up after nearly every match, while another copy exhibits no glitches whatsoever.
One on one matches are a breeze, while Triple Threat, Fatal Four Way, and the various tag matches can be extremely frustrating. Quite often your tag partner will not go for the pin once tagged in, nor will he tag the player back in. Triple Threat and Fatal Four Way matches ultimately come down to getting all but one opponent out of the ring, otherwise getting a pin is all but impossible.
Another problem with the game is reaching the goals you are given during your career. In completing the story mode, the player must defeat several "Legends" in matches set up by Eric Bischoff, but the "Defeat a Legend" goal is never completed. One of these legends is Andre "the Giant." Any wrestling fan knows Andre passed away years ago. While we all know WWE is "sports entertainment," this is a stretch even for them.
Overall, this is an average game at best. The story mode is short and frustrating. However, online play is supported and some may garner many hours of enjoyment from this mode.
If you are a fan of the WWE, this is a good purchase at $19.99. Otherwise stay away. This series may "Become a Legend" someday, but it has a long way to go.

hey man look this is what you need to do to become a legend go to the difficulty setting and put it on legend. then go to any match. but for an easy win go to a handicap match and put you and three other superstars in it but make sure that you make it a tornado handicap match then let the others beat the opponent then just go and pin him. then you will have became a legend!!!!
Strengths: The graphics. Amazing detail with the wrestler entrances especially. For example, while Triple H makes his way to the ring, the detail shows the veins in his thigh. I have never seen detail like.
Weakness: The gameplay. While doing some moves, you notice a bit of slowness and freezing.
During the career mode, you have no choice in your career path. Also when you lose a match, you don't get to move on you have to win all your matches. Also the online feature would be great if people played it online. NO ONE and I mean NO ONE plays it online.

WWE Wrestlemania 21 is the perfect example of how a wrestling game should be. Lots of wrestlers to choose from, great graphics and fun gameplay. You really feel like you are in the ring with your opponent. This is the best wrestling game in years and a must buy for any WWE wrestling fan.

Strengths: Graphics look great, music sounds good.
Weakness: Gameplay controls, lack of innovation.
Like most new-gen wrestling games, I find the lack of competition between brands (i.e. WCW vs. WWF) have spawned a whole truckload of underwhelming WWE games. Unfortunately, the Xbox does not have much of a selection. And what it does have is lackluster. The graphics are excellent, and are among the best I've seen for a wrestling game. The story mode is short, and not well executed. I have not tried the online aspect of the game, but I doubt i will. Overally, this game does not deserve to be in the same ring as the N64 WWF wrestling games.

Wrestlemania 21 is one of the various wrestling games for the X box. Every few years, a new WWF wrestling game is made, and the funny thing is, it is almost exactly the same as the previous version, except for a newer roster of wrestlers and improved graphics and match choices. Since this is the latest version, it thus has the best graphics as compared to the previous WWF Raw 1 and 2. the entrance music of each character is also intact and is just as good as the actual version on television. The wrestlers’ movement and idiosyncrasies are also intact; in fact, if you squint your eyes, you will almost swear that you are watching an actual broadcast. The create a wrestler system is also back, but still not as deep as the Smackdown series for the Play Station 2. What makes this game aggravating at times is the dumb and moronic AI which will demonstrate its ineptness with both your opponents and your own tag team partner. You will see such great actions like your opponent running towards the ropes, bouncing off them, and just run back and forth over and over while you stare in nonplussed silence. Another problem is when the camera pans out way back when the other wrestlers leave the ring and start brawling on the upside. Your character in the ring is now very tiny and hard to see, which really kills the fun. If you are a dedicated and devoted wrestling fan who feels compelled to get every wrestling game out there, then picks this up. but if you are more discriminating and have a higher standard for your games, then skip this mess of a game and just wait for a better one to come along.
Strengths: Great graphics, many characters to pick from, many modes to pick from.
Weakness: Learning to do specific moves takes time
This is the first wrestling game I purchased and very satisfied with it. The graphics are great. The only thing that I didn't like is the career mode but the ability to play against others makes it worth it.

For far too long, fans of professional wrestling have been shortchanged on the videogame front, as each new game that comes out is a poor representation of their “sport.” Now, with the release of Wrestlemania XXI, THQ seemed to go back to the drawing board by signing on a brand new developer, Studio Gigante (the creators of Tao Feng: Enter the Fist), who were set to reinvent the failing...
Studio Gigante--headed by John Tobias, a major force behind the Mortal Kombat series--takes the reigns for this Xbox exclusive. The animation is excellent, and there's a physics generator to keep the wrestlers moving in a realistic manner. The graphics are downright superb, as well.
Solid wrestling title
