Carnival Games Wii

Strengths: Very kid friendly. You can use actions like at a real carnival

Weakness: Repetitive if you are an adult playing

My eight year old Grandaughter loves this game. It has a lot of games that are like being at the carnival. They play quick & eather you win the prize or not. This is fun to play with the kids. Not so much for adults by yourself as it becomes repetitive. For sure better then losing real money at the Carnival grab joints! Over all I think this is a great family game

Good times at the Carnival!

Strengths: 4 players, lots of stuff to unlock, very good controls.

Weakness: Gets kind of repetitive after awhile.

At $40 (MSRP), this is a pretty solid title. Most think it's just another cash in since it's ANOTHER mini-game game. Yes, it is. But it's a good one, at least.

This is a great game for families to play, as we ALL know how to play the games at the carnival. There are lots of different costumes to unlock, so the replay value is there.

This isn't one of them games where you would sit there for HOURS playing. However, it's something you do in small periods. It's fun to play a game or 2 (maybe 3) with some friends.

The sound and graphics are so-so. Are graphics everything? Of course not, but we have seen better on the Wii. The character designs are quite weird too.

This may not be THE party game (Mario Party 8 is currently my favorite), but this is a good game to break out every once in a while.

Carny fun for all , but don't waste too many tickets...

Strengths: Great variety of games. Game creates good atmosphere. A lot of fun for more than one player.

Weakness: Some games are hard to control. Some games are pretty easy.

Step right up to the Carnival Games for the Wii. Carnival games consists of 25 of the most popular games played at carnivals. There are some super games you can unlock in addition to those games. You can either play solo or with a group of friends in head to head with any game and competition mode (5 games selected at random). What's the reward? Prizes of course! Over 250 prizes can be purchased with your tickets and can be upgraded from smaller prizes.

Before you start playing, you can customize a character . The customization options are limited, and much less than the Mii creation options.

The Wii remote movements seem pretty logical for most games. Since there are so many games, controls vary from pretty good (alley ball, spilled milk) to terrible (golf hole in one, ring toss- it's hard to tell how much force you need to put in). As you get better in some games on tries, they increase in difficult (smaller target, increase speed).

Some games get boring after a while so replayability is limited for the single player.

This game is probably more suitable for parties and definitely suitable for younger audiences.

My Day At The Carnival

Strengths: A lot of game variety and the games are pretty fun, especially with multiplayer mode. Also even younger children will be able to play this game.

Weakness: You get through the game much to fast-the 30 or so games that it has are short in duration. You also can't change your character that much.

The whole family will be able to play this game and for the best experience with this game, you should play with other people. There are a variety of games to play but many will seem too easy for even moderate gamers, but it is fun to compete against friends and family-which is what gives this game some replay value.

Fun game. But the game has bug.

Strengths: Lots of different game. (25+). You will find a few that you like

Weakness: Graphic is so so. Some of the game are just hard to play (hard to control).

You will get bored with the game very soon. Some of the game are just very hard/tired to play and making your hand so tired. The bad thing is the game will freeze your wii and require a complete power down from time to time. I don't think this game is worth it. Better spend money on other game.

A budget priced game that is actually good?

Strengths: 25+ games, good use of Wii remote, character customization, fun multiplayer.

Weakness: Graphics are bland, No Mii support, Bad music, No online play.

Just what the Wii needs, another mini game filled disc. Surprisingly this budget priced Wii title is actually pretty good. What really stands out is the controls. Every game controls differently and is well done. There are 4 characters to choose from, but you are able to customize what they wear. There is even tons of unlockable costumes. There is also a few unlockable games.

There are a few downsides to the game however. No Mii support is a glaring omission. Along with no support for online play. Graphics are decent, but could and should be much better.

This is a recommended buy especially for kids. Also if you plan to play with 2-4 people its a must buy.

Wii Carnival Games

Strengths: Fun games and I felt like i was at a real carnivall.

Weakness: Slow loading

I thought this game was a lot of fun. I played it with a bunch of my friends. The multyplayer games were great and we had a lot of fun. The graphics were very realistic.

Carnival games for wii, great fun for all ages

Strengths: simple game play, games you've seen at fairs and carnivals

Weakness: maybe too easy/simple for some people

I got this game mainly to play with my 5 year old, games are simple enough. There are lots of games you've seen and love.
race, hit the monkey with a ball, basketball hoops, to name a few, there are over 15 games, and also many secret games that needs to be unlocked.

If you like the simple and fun gameplay of Wii Sports/Play, then you'll like this one as well.

Awesome and entertaining game!

Strengths: Uses the full power of the WII remote. Very fun for the kids and adults. Almost like a virtual day at the carnival.

Weakness: Be very careful with the football game...that has been the only time that my WII remote slipped out of my hands (lucky for the straps!). Other than that there are no "REAL" weaknesses.

This to me has been one of the funest games for the WII. It really keeps the kids happy and playing for a few hours at a time (we have to pry them off the WII).

Carnival Games - Be a kid again!

Strengths: Over 25 games, great soundtrack makes you feel like you're at the carnival.

Weakness: Limited customization of character. Your arm will get tired playing!

After reading many players reactions, I decided to pick up the game myself. The game is easy to learn, hard to put down once you start playing. I remember all the summers going to the fair and spending my piggy bank money to win the prizes. Carnival games brings back the nostalgia and more. All the classic games are there such as the Dunk Tank, Milk Jugs throw, Ring Toss, Coin Toss, and Shooting the star. Over 25 mini games, can't beat that. Definitely recommend for families with children and for parties. If you liked Wii Sports, you must pick up Carnival Games.

One of the better titles out there - especially for...

Strengths: Minigames are fun and nostolgic. Tons of carnival games that are quite realistic. All ages can play the games. Just plain fun.

Weakness: Cannot use Mii's that you created. Some games are limited as to how long you can play them (3 turns for example).

Overall for the price and playability this title has been the best since the sports that came with the wii. If you enjoyed midway games growing up this title is a must. Young and old can play with and against, the games are that easy to play (there are a lot too). Bottom line a fun family game that can be played again and again.

What's Right with Wii

Strengths: FUN! Intuitive controls, colorful atmosphere, lots of unlockables, variety of games

Weakness: no Mii support, multiplayer is a little weak

I've been looking forward to Carnival Games for a long time. I first heard about it about six months ago, and anxiously awaited its release. Once I found out it was coming out the same week as Metroid Prime 3, I knew it would be an underdog though.

I knew many people would look at this game as "just another mini-game collection", but let me say, all mini-game collections should be like this! There are so many different games you can play, and the controls are very intuitive, and really portray the fun of these games as they are in real life.

You've got a dunking booth, skeeball, ring toss, test of strength, shooting gallery, balloon darts, nerves of steel (just as impossible as in real life!), and so many more. They even throw in a "Ask the Swami" and "Love Test" for good measure. This game really makes you feel like you're at the carnival. The sounds are very realistic also. The only thing I would have liked to have seen is integration of the Mii's. You get to create your own character in the game, but they're not nearly as enjoyable as our Mii buddies that we already know and love.

Overall, this game is a great game to use to introduce people to the Wii, or just to have a casual, laid back night of gaming fun. It's not Metroid, but thankfully, it isn't trying to be.

Carnival Games--Makes me want to go to a real...

Strengths: Over 25 games, lots of different motions with Wii controller, makes you feel like a kid again

Weakness: No Cotton Candy!

I love Carnival Games for the Wii. It makes me feel like a kid again playing all those cheesy carnival games, but for free in the privacy of my home. No one can make fun of me if I miss or lose and when I win I have prizes to show for it saved on my game. This game can be played with up to four people or play alone. Only the Wii remote is needed to play. The games are addictive and can be challenging or just silly, like the fortune teller game or the Meter- O- Love. Some other games include Alleyball (skeeball), Dunk Tank, Clown Splash, Horse Racing, Balloon Darts, Spilled Milk, Shooting Gallery, Hole in One, Ring Toss, and Ring the Bell.

Wii Carnival Games

Strengths: Variety of games on one disk. They are extremely entertaining and easy to play for a variety of age levels.

Weakness: As with most Wii games, the graphics aren't the best.

We were visiting our nephew's house who just bought the game from a local retailer. We couldn't stop laughing. The games are easy to play and enjoyable for a variety of ages. In fact, we just ordered one for our own home and can't wait for it to get here!

Carnival Games

Most people, young or old, have fond memories of going to the carnival or fair, whether it’s the food, the rides, the games, or simply the atmosphere. Considering that, it’s a wonder that we haven’t seen more video games set in this unique locale. Global Star Software obviously thought it was a good idea, as they have now given us Carnival Games for Wii. Combining all the classic carnival...
