Meteos: Disney Magic

Strengths: In Meteos: Disney Magic you have the ability to slide any tile left or right as well as up and down.

Weakness: Meteos: Disney Magic has no online gameplay.

In Meteos: Disney Magic you can move the tiles horizontally. One bright aspect of the game is the multiplayer mode. Like Vs. Computer mode, up to four players can compete against each other to see who can last the longest. Meteos: Disney Magic supports download play, so as long as one person has a game card, everyone can play. If you're looking for a solid and fun puzzle game, Meteos: Disney Magic is a great choice.

Meteos: Disney Magic

Strengths: Gameplay, Disney characters

Weakness: None

Meteos: Disney Magic is a new kid-friendly installment of the original Meteos with Disney references. It's a puzzle game that you play with the Nintendo DS sideway. The gameplay is similar to the preivous Meteos but now you can also move the tiles horizontally, which makes playing much easier for kids. There is no online mode but you can play with up to 4 players (4 DS'es using 1 cart) in the multiplayer mode.

Meteos: Disney Magic

Strengths: Lots of Disney references for the kids

Weakness: None

I only bought this game because of the Disney name. I thought my son (5-years old) would enjoy playing on the DS with Woody and Buzz. I enjoy this game more than he does. I love playing the tile games for DS and this is a fun one!

I would buy this game again!

Meteos: Disney Magic

Strengths: Meteos is fun and has good multiplayer action.

Weakness: There is no online gameplay.

The most important element of the original Meteos gameplay was that you could only move the blocks vertically. With this more family-friendly version, you can also move blocks horizontally. This makes the game easier than its predecessor, which is great for children. Meteos: Disney Magic is played with the DS held sideways. What is exciting, however, is the multiplayer mode. Up to four people can play at once, and you do not need four copies of the game. You only need one copy. There isn't any support for online gameplay. It's still a Meteos game and it's still lots of fun. If you have a child or younger sibling this would be a good way to introduce them to the puzzle genre. Otherwise, you might want to just stick with the previous edition.

Meteos: Disney Magic

Easily one of the best puzzle games on the DS, Meteos has now received a pseudo-sequel of sorts in Meteos: Disney Magic. The formula is simple - take away the original levels and replace them with Disney themed backgrounds. Q Entertainment is counting on DS owners to pick up their second dosage of Meteos, sadly though, a few of the hardcore fans will become alienated with this ‘kid-friendly’...
