Hi.This game is pretty cool.It has alot of different gameplay elements as it has many of the different Olympics games.Like track, discus, swimming, shotput, etc...A whole bunch of different games. You can compete as many different countries which adds to the replay value very well. All in all I say this is a good all around game.

There are plenty of countries and events to choose from. They can be fun at first but they fall into button mashing. Many people will get sick of it. I got it for a cheap price.
Strengths: You can pick from different countries to use for your team to play. There are so many fun events to choose from...
Weakness: There could probably be more unconventional events that relate to the condition of today's world.
Athens 2004 seemed to have more difficult controls for the jumping event. The graphics and sound were impressive. Overall, the game was great because I am a sports enthusiast. I recommend buying Athens 2004 because it is a pleasurable game to play especially if who enjoy watching athletic events. I found it to be an addictive game to play especially when you compete against a friend instead of the computer.
Weakness: Repeatedly click 2 keys for most of the games~
This is a nice collection of many little games. Not too spectacular graphics and music. You first select which country you want to be represent, and then choose a game to play. Each games takes about 2 minutes (or shorter if you fail too quickly) to complete. Most of the games require quickly click x and o repeatedly to get enough strength to perform an exercise. At beginning, it was fun, after 3 games, it was boring and my fingers got tired. Other games require some good timing to click the keys. It will not occupy you too long to finish each competition. Overall, it is a nice little game if you can get it for around $10.

Assuming button mashers like Athens 2004 retain their popularity, I believe I have an idea for a videogame that will sell hundreds of millions of copies. My reasoning goes like this: Since we all seem doomed to play these incessant wrist obliterators until the end of time , why don't we broaden our horizons and attempt to cater to a wider masochistic audience by selling a game that's just a...
I was going to start this review off with a few jokes about the Olympics -- the steroid scandals, the fat guy who they thought was involved in the explosion in Atlanta, etc. I'd played a preview version of 989 Sports' Athens 2004, and while it struck me as decent, it didn't bowl me over. Having just spent a ridiculous amount of time with a final version of the game, though, I figured I'd get...
Have you got the mettle to win a medal? The Summer Olympic Games are almost upon us and Sony, in conjunction with Eurocom, will be releasing Athens 2004 in July. This is a game that will take sports fans into the heart of the action at these cyber Olympic games. The game features a host of events, sterling animation and challenges, as well the ability to choose the country and character you wish...
Pretty Fun
Strengths: Good graphics, really fun
Weakness: could be better
