Strengths: Good graphics and better control than previous installment. More cars and more stuffs to do.
Weakness: None at the moment.
Flatout 2 is a big improvement to the previous installment. It sports improved graphics throughout, the surrounding environment, the cars, and the details on everything. The control is better too, the car steering feels better and more responsive. The designer probably learned something from their previous game, because in this one, there are more cars to drive and more stuffs to do rather than just derby racing. This time, the player(s) get to do street racing as well as circuit racing. The street and circuit racings are probably not as comparable with the other well known titles, but the other titles does not have taking opponents out to win the races.
Overall, Flatout 2 improves upon the original Flatout game. Fairly similar to the Burnout series, the player(s) need to do whatever it takes to win, but it have the derby races that Burnout series does not have. Player(s) in this game get to pull Dukes of Hazzards type of driving to get to the finish line.

FlatOut 2 has one message it wishes to convey: high-speed, turbo-charged destructiveness. That theme has been the dream of many racers hoping to captivate an audience that hates the idea of standing still. Is that car not going fast enough for you? Fire up the nitro! Did that object seem to appear out of nowhere, blocking your path in a race that's too close for comfort? Simply ram right through...
