Digital Wild World

Strengths: Everything!

Weakness: Nothing

This is a TERRIFIC game for virtual life freaks like myself! If you liked The Sims but wish it had animals, BUY THIS GAME!!! I'm addicted! Note to parents: This game teaches two lessons:
1. Responsibility
2. Actions have consequences

Perhaps Too Addicting

Strengths: Good Graphics; Fun; Easy Controls; Real Time

Weakness: Slightly Boring; Repetitive Music; Once everything is done, not as fun

I guess I will be the voice of reason on this game. I have a feeling all the previous reviews have been from people who haven't played this game for all that long.

I have played Animal Crossing Wild World for almost a year now, and it has its clear advantages and disadvantages.

This game has really good graphics, one of the best I have seen on the Nintendo DS, right up there with Mario Kart. The colors are crisp and fun. They are also very bright. It being a cartoonish like game, it is cartoonish, but very good (and I don't prefer cartoons).

At first, it is really fun, and as the title indicates, probably too fun. You're playing all the time, it almost takes over your life. Then, after a while, you get a new game, and it's easy to forget about that game that is repetitive. Then, awhile later, you start playing like a maniac again.

The controls are extremely easy, limited to the A and B buttons (unless you want to get advanced). You can also use the DS touch screen whose controls are easy to use when you get used to them, but I prefer the buttons.

I really love that it is in real time, it kind of gives it a fun flair in my opinion. Unlike the Sims, it actually has real seconds and minutes, not abnormally fast ones. The bugs and fish in the game are also real fish, and in your "wildlife journal" for lack of better terms, you get short descriptions of them, which is slightly educational. The animals also come out at times you would actually find them.

The music gets repetitive if you play it at the same time of day every day. It changes every hour or two to go with the time of day, but that makes almost no difference.

Also, once you do everything you can (which, I haven't done yet) I does get boring. The best part of the game is expanding your house, and when you finish that, life gets boring. There are some secrets which I won't reveal (some I haven't figured out) but do make the game a little better.

The events that occur every so often give the game a little more excitement. Events such as the bug catching contest, the fishing tourney, flea market day, etc. make it more fun. You can also dig up stuff, shoot stuff out of the sky and talk with the animal residents, hence the name.

Overall, though, the game is quite fun, especially if you knowother residents. Perhaps they should not have made this game as addicting as it is but overall, I would reccomend Animal Crossing Wild World.

animal crossing wild world

Strengths: great music and sound, recomend talkin to service center for surround sound(little phone in the save room)classic graphics.

Weakness: gamplay although fun is a bit on the short side . not a whole lot of fun but great nonetheless.

this is a classic broght back from the grave from the still disgustingly awsome Nintendo Gamecube.this game is highly recommended by me but try it for yourself and see. you can trust me that this game is one of the best that ive played in a long time. a good game for Nintendo fans and has the new wi-fi technology on it.some hints and tips for money crazed players, a few words.(go to tom nook and buy 2 shovels.use one shovel to bury another.save. in exactly one day go back and dig it up. u will have the golden shovel.with the golden shovel bury one thousand bells in the ground. if u water the hole where the money is buried in a week you will have a full grown money tree. thanks for listening and remember keep ur world wild.-moonsushi13 from everlasting nintendo(its going to last forever).

Animal Crossing Rox!!!!!

Strengths: You can play as different characters, visit events and even change your haircolor and hairdue!

Weakness: NONE!

If you played Harvest Moon for Nintendo 64 or for Playstation and thought it was OK, You'll die over this! All of your friends are animals! With Wi-Fi Connection your real friends can visit your town! You can catch bugs, dig for fossils and even catch fish! This is a game that's MAGNIFICENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

BEST GAME OUT THERE!

Strengths: EVERYTHING

Weakness: NOTHING AT ALL!

Animal Crossing is a fun game that at the same time teaches you real life things like paying off a mortgage, saving and earning money (bells), and much more! This game also has fun characters that are actually animals that talk! This game isn't just a virtual life, it's a virtual world, a Wild World!

Animal Crossing Wild World

Gamers were generally surprised when Nintendo released Animal Crossing on the GameCube a couple years ago. More of a “people” (to use the term loosely) simulation than an actual game, Animal Crossing had players controlling their person through the mundane tasks of daily life, like planting trees, working, collecting items and meeting other strange folks. The DS version does throw a few new...

Animal Crossing Wild World

There are very few games that can hold my interest for more than a couple weeks, much less an entire year, but Animal Crossing practically forces you to keep playing. It goes beyond being a mere simulation and becomes a full-fledged commitment. You'll quickly become familiar with the personality quirks of your town's inhabitants, taking note of their relationships with each other and perhaps even...
