Weakness: A few minor problems here and there, but nothing worth complaining about
This game was really, really fun. It was a decent, fun type multiplayer shooter for the xbox. It was REALLY fun multiplayer, my roommate and I had a blast with it. This game is well worth buying, especially at the price it's at now.

first of all the gameplay is great. In thrid person view you have the control of a robot, and the control is also great. The story and voice acting are also very good. Mulitplayer mode is a blast, but the only drawback is that there is no way to play it online.
Strengths: Good selection of useful weapons, fun run-n-gun gameplay, split-screen multiplayer is fun
Weakness: Difficult in spots, no system link or Live multiplayer, camera gets stuck in corners easily
This is a great little game. I played the demo for it a while back and knew I had to pick up the full game. The gameplay is fluid, even in some of the harder spots. The weapon selection is varied and gives depth to the game, especially with the limited supply of ammo in some situations. Multiplayer offers lots of different modes and is a blast to play with friends. Too bad they didn't offer it in anything but single-system split-screen! Oh well. The developers, Swinging Ape Studios, really put a lot into this and it shows. Good work fellas!
Strengths: Great Controls, Fun Multiplayer, Great Action
Weakness: No Xbox Live, Overlooked, Weak Story
Metal Arms: A Glitch in the System is a 3rd Person action shooter which ends up being a very well rounded game. Metal Arms stars Glitch, a robot on the all-robot planet of Iron Star. The planet falls into chaos when power hungry General Corrosive takes control. Your objective throughout the game is to restore Iron Star back to its original state. The story ends up being fairly weak and not as capturing as some games. The story itself won’t lend itself to another go around in the single player portion of the game. The action though in Glitch in the System is phenomenal. The variety of weapons is great which keeps the game fresh. There are also vehicles which are available to your disposal. You can choose to either use the vehicle yourself, or put it under your control (via possessive grenade) so it will follow you and help you in battle. Enemies are also varied but you are still required to find each type of enemy’s weakness/strength. The sound is also done very well with great voice acting and sound effects. The music though is pretty bad which slightly hinders the experience. The graphics are well done as the atmosphere of the game is unique and interesting. But what really made this game great for me were the easy to use controls. The controls are done very well which makes the game ultimately very smooth. You will never be stretching your fingers for buttons in this game. The controls in the end make the feel of a robot great and make the game a great pick up and play game. Also added to the game is a multi-player which lets you and some friends battle it out split-screen. The multiplayer is simple to understand and easy to use. The maps are pretty well varied but a few seem to not fit the robot atmosphere. The multiplayer is very fun and pretty deep. Vehicles are an option as well as slewful of guns, grenades, and other objects such as a slingshot and a grapple. Unfortunately, there is no Xbox Live support which keeps this game from truly being amazing. Overall, the multiplayer is fun and will help the lasting appeal of the game. In conclusion, the gameplay of Metal Arms is great and really draws you in. The total experience is very entertaining and is a game that all Xbox owners should not overlook.
Strengths: Great graphics and sound, good voice acting, very humorous, lots of action.
Weakness: Hard to see (camera zoomed in too much), polygon tearing (only on Xbox) version, short game.
I had a blast (literally) playing this game. Metal Arms is a great third person action full of action, explosions and robots, complemented with an interesting and humorous storyline. The graphics are great because all the mayhem is beautifully animated. The sound and controls are also top notch. The camera itself seems to be zoomed into the character too close so your peripheral vision isn't all that good. The one big problem with the Xbox version is that the polygons tear quite often and the screen has to refresh. While most gamers won't notice this glitch, it will annoy video-philes such as myself. It's just a minor thing but if it's something that will prevent you from playing this game, then I recommend opting for the Gamecube or Playstation 2 version (preferably the Cube version). A very good game.
Strengths: Graphics, sound, controls, and unique gameplay additions.
Weakness: Tearing in the graphics and no Live play.
Metal Arms: Glitch in the System is a 3rd person perspective shooter for XBOX. You play as a robot who has lots of weapons at his disposal and a hijacking the enemy ability. Hijacking the an enemy allows you to play as the enemy and cause massive destruction to the enemy using their own weapons. The game controls sort of like Halo but in 3rd person. Graphics tearing happens every now and then. Other than that the graphics are awesome.
Give the game 4 stars overall for being a decent shooter and its even cheap to buy now.
Strengths: Tiny robots with massive firepower, fun gameplay
Weakness: Tedious in spots, no online play
Metal Arms features cute robots who just so happen to pack some big guns. It's a lighthearted and action-packed third-person shooter featuring a nice selection of weapons, varied enemies, and some truly enjoyable combat. Although incredibly difficult at times, the action and fun never let up. You can even take control of vehicles and other robots. Unfortunately, the game's multiplayer aspect is limited to offline play. This would have been a blast online!
Metal Arms is one of this generations overlooked gems. Fans of fast action third person shooters will truly want to pick this one up as it provides a great gameplay experience. There's a whole lot of variety through out the lengthy campaign with the ability to hijack other robots, upgrade weapons, and drive vehicles.
The game has a great style and really fleshes out its robot-centric world with clean graphics, animations, and humor. At times the game can be challenging, but never really frustrating thanks to its solid controls and clear objectives. Overall, this is a great game and can probably be found at a budget price.
this game is quite hard but is a blast to play. This games multiplayer is a 4 person party, you get vehicles and great weapons. This game is bascially a ratchet and clank for the xbox and that is a very good thing. Get this the mintue you find it.
Weakness: Can get very hard at times. Minor glitches.
Metal Arms is a great game. It's basically an action shooter. But the carnage you can create can be most satisfying. You have a variety of weapons that can be attached to your robot. It's also fun to use said weapons against the robot army your fighting. Blowing off metal limbs and creating mayhem everywhere. It really is a fun game.
However, at times it can get frustratingly difficult. Getting stuck over and over again is not fun to me. I would recommend playing on an easy level unless you are up to the challenge and don't mind getting stuck at some points. Further, with all the mayhem you can cause, sometimes there's an occasional glitch with the graphics or slowdown.
Still, you can find this game for as little as ten bucks at some stores and you should buy it.
Strengths: Lots of fun weapons, frantic combat actions, great graphics and sound
Weakness: Overly hard levels at times, enemies seem to kill you on a whim
If you like a good, solid third-person shooter, you'll love Metal Arms. The action is hectic, lots of "blow-up-lots-of-stuff" weapons, big levels, great graphics and good sound.
However, sometimes, you get your backside handed to you a little too much, when it seems like the other sides has much bigger guns and they know how to use them better. Plenty of times I worked through a level more than once, sometimes much more than once, almost to a frustraing level. Though, when you do get past it, it's well worth it.
The multiplayer seems good, the little I've played with it, but seems like it should be lots of fun. LAN play would be better than split-screen, but that's a small gripe.
If you like to blow things up and like your combat hectic and crazy, definately get this game.

It seems like there was a rule passed under the table that every third-person action title needed to feature either a cute mascot or some over-competent military hero. So how about a nice little title that features an amalgamation of both? Metal Arms: Glitch In The System serves up a capable, attractive little robot in loads of bullet-riddled action. It's challenging and twitchy, with enough...
